Thoroughly enjoyed the location. Villa is becoming dated, but perfectly serviceable. The hot water boiler broke down and took a few days to replace, but not the end of the world. May well return.

This villa is lovely, located in a quiet area on the beach. Everything was well thought out. It had everything we needed and some unexpected extras such as mosquito nets over the beds and fly screens which made our stay more comfortable. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The host, Peter, was communicative and helpful if needed.

Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr nett. Bei Fragen erhielten wir umgehend Antwort. Auch die Housekeeperin ist sehr gut erreichbar und sehr freundlich.Das Haus liegt in zweiter Reihe in einer ruhigen Bungalowsiedlung, nur wenige Meter vom Strand und Meer entfernt. An der Uferpromenade entlang sind Lokale fußläufig erreichbar.Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Parkplatz direkt vor der Haustüre.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Top!

Ons verblijf was fantastisch. Contact met eigenaar was super ,direct antwoord op onze vraag. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, zodat je van een heerlijke vakantie kunt genieten. Er is genoeg te zien en doen in de omgeving en restaurants genoeg om heerlijk uit eten te gaan.

Polis to enjoy

Wir haben 1 Woche in der Villa verbracht, Lage top (ruhig und super Strand), Kommunikation mit Peter top. Das Einzige was schade war, ist dass das Mobiliar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Außerdem war das Doppelbett sehr schmal. Prima Host und wenn ein paar neue Möbel gekauft werden, sofort Empfehlung für Hinreisen.

Just to clarify for future guests, the double bed is a standard double size, but we will look at whether a kingsize bed is feasible for the bedroom. Thanks also for your suggestions re the furniture. 3 Wochen Entspannung in Polis Tolle Unterkunft, komplett ausgestattet. Von der Buchung bis zur Abreise hat alles sehr gut funktioniert. Der Vermieter hat auf jede Anfrage sehr schnell und freundlich reagiert. Villa Sara war eine Reise wert. Empfehlenswert ! Renate & Paul

Empfehlenswert !

Wir bewohnten insgesamt 23 Tage die " Villa Sara". Sie liegt wundervoll eingebettet in Oleander und Begounevillehecken. Beim betreten war sie ordentlich hergerichtet und sauber. Traditionelle Möbel rundeten das ganze ab. Peter, der Vermieter der Villa war nicht selber vor Ort, aber wir hielten via WhatsApp Kontakt miteinander. Er leitete dann alles an Maria, die sich vor Ort befand weiter. Leider stellten wir fest, dass der Kühlschrank defekt war. Ich kontaktierte Peter und es dauerte keine 3 Stunden wurde er durch einen neuen ersetzt. So wie es bei "Fewo" beschrieben wurde, so zeigte sich auch die Villa. Vom Patio aus sieht man das Meer. Der Weg bis zum Strand beträgt wie schon oft beschrieben um die 80 m. Ein Weg der am langen Arsinoe Beach entlang führt ist wunderbar zu begehen. In jeder Richtung gibt es etwas zu sehen und zu entdecken. Am Campingplatz, Richtung Polis, gibt eine urige Strandbar. Man kann dort Liegen und Schirme mieten. Der Strandabschnitt ist durch Rettungsschwimmer gesichert. In der anderen Richtung gibt es auch eine große Strandbar mit Eisdiele einer Lounge und einem Restaurant. Teilweise gibt es Liegen aus stabilen Holz und tollen Auflagen. Eine Liege sowie ein Schirm kosten 2,50 €. Ein Set kostet für den ganzen Tag 7,50 €. Dort ist der Strand ebenfalls durch Rettungsschwimmer gesichert. Das Meer war wundervoll. Der Hafen ist sehr schön und touristisch noch nicht überlaufen. Kleine Bars säumen den Weg. In Latchi gibt es kleine Supermärkte und diverse andere Geschäfte. Wer die Blaue Lagune sehen möchte, dem empfehle ich ein Boot zu mieten, welches man auch mit dem Autoführerschein steuern darf. Ihr könnt auch einen Buggy mieten um dort hin zu kommen, oder eine Geländewagentour mieten. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist das Städtchen Polis. Dort gibt es unzählige Restaurants und Souveniershops. Wer traditionelle Gerichte oder gute Pizza essen möchte sollte unbedingt ins "Chix Chox" gehen. Ein Familienbetrieb mit ganz viel Herz und das Essen ist Klasse. Es empfiehlt sich unbedingt einen Mietwagen zu nehmen. Auf Zypern gibt es so viel zu sehen und zu entdecken. In Pafos tobt das Leben, besonders am Wochenende. Ist allerdings sehr touristisch geprägt und nicht jedermanns Sache. Limassol ist auch sehenswert, besonders die Gastronomiemeile mit den vielen bunten Schirmen. Nikosia ist ein Muss. Es sind zwei verschiedene Welten. Nach der Grenzüberschreitung zur Türkei ist alles irgendwie anders, aber macht euch selber ein Bild davon.

Ruhige und erholsame Reise

Es hat alles wie in der Beschreibung funktioniert. Der Strand war fast vor der Haustüre und es war zu dieser Zeit wirklich herrlich ruhig. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Die Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in Unmittelbarer Nähe und sehr gut und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Der Arkamas Natinalpark ist auf jedenfall ein Fahrt dorthin wert. Zum Wandern gibt es sehr schöne Trails aber es ist zu dieser Jahreszeitleider zu heiß dafür. Abschließend kann man nur sagen eine wunderschöne und erholsame Urlaubreise für uns alle!

Latchi break

Bathroom and hot water system badly need updating, garden was very overgrown some of the bushes were dead and some were diseased with sticky stuff we couldn't park in the parking place.

Many thanks for your feedback, which is always welcome. I just want to give an update on your comments. The hot water system has been upgraded in the last 6 months with a new boiler being installed. Unfortunately, we had a technical issue during your stay which was caused by a drop in water pressure. This issue has now been repaired/resolved. The shower room is refurbished/redecorated on an annual basis and I have never had feedback prior to this from any guests suggesting it is in need of updating. My apologies that the garden was not perfect. Unfortunately the hibiscus hedge that borders the garden and drive has recently suffered an insect attack. This has been thoroughly treated but in order for the spray to be effective, the foliage needs to be left in place for a period of time to facilitate absorption. The hedge is scheduled to be pruned back shortly and therefore will return to normal thereafter. Best wishes Peter.

erholsamer Urlaub

Im Haus war alles notwendige Inventar und Küchenzubehör vorhanden. Die Heizung (Klimaanlage mit Heizfunktion und frei positionierbare Wärmestrahler) hat gut funktioniert. Das war bei dem schlechten Wetter im Januar leider auch notwendig. Zu bemängeln sind die für große Leute zu kurzen Betten (1.90), ein sehr lauter Ventilator zur Entlüftung im Badezimmer, der leider auch Nachts anspringt, sobald das Licht angeschaltet wird und die etwas angerostete Geschirrspülmaschine.

Many thanks for the feedback. My apologies that things were not perfect. The dishwasher had a damaged plate rack which had rusted. This has now been replaced with a new unit. The fan in the shower room had a loose cover which has now been repaired. The beds are all standard size/length. Sorry to hear the weather was not great...January can be changeable weather unfortunately.

Schönes Ferienhaus für Familie am Meer

In einer Ecke Zyperns, die noch nicht von Touristen überlaufen ist, liegt dieses komplett eingerichtete kleine Ferienhaus mit schöner Terrasse in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Wir haben hier drei wunderbare Wochen verbracht. Der freundliche Besitzer Peter war immer erreichbar, wenn mal was gefehlt hat: perfekter Service!

Sehr schönes Haus am Meer

Wie alle Gästebucheinträge im Haus und Kommentare hier, kann ich nur zustimmen, dass es sich um ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus handelt, bei dem - bis auf die mehrmals erwähnte Teekanne - alles vorhanden ist. Ursprünglich wollte ich ja in der ersten Reihe der Häuser sein, da ich dachte Seeblick ist alles. Aber es geht nichts über diese Terrasse mit wunderschöner Oleanderhecke, bei der man wirklich absolute Privatsphäre genießt. Der Strand, der wirklich nur 100 Meter entfernt ist, ist sehr schön. Eigentlich wunderbar, da wirklich nur wenige Leute da sind und das Wasser wunderbar ist. Die einzige Empfehlung die ich zur Verbesserung des Objekts geben könnte ist die Terrasse, besser gesagt die Beschattung derselben. Die Terrasse ist nur durch ein paar Leinenstreifen beschattet, die bei der Sonneneinstrahlung im Sommer nicht sehr effektiv sind. Da würde ein festes Dach mehr Sinn machen. Deshalb konnten wir in der Siesta-Zeit mittags bis spätnachmittags nur halbstundenweise da sitzen. Ansonsten haben wir einen wunderbaren Urlaub genossen in einem wunderschönen Haus das ich gerne weiterempfehle. Liebe Grüße

Perfect holiday in a lovely villa!

Wow! This was such a lovely holiday! We were so impressed with the villa's location - just a stone's throw from the beach and perfect for a morning or evening stroll to the harbour for a drink. The villa was perfectly equipped with all the mod-cons you would hope for. It was especially nice to have a washing machine and dishwasher, as well as a modern fully-fitted kitchen. Upon arrival, the villa was in immaculate condition and had been cleaned very well; the token welcome pack with some milk, bread etc was also a lovely touch as we arrived late in the evening and the stores were closed. There are many amazing restaurants around - Polis and in the hills at Kathikas were where we found our favourites (we have written the names of these in the guest book). The vineyard was a great way to taste (and buy!) some wine for the week, and very good prices. We hired a boat from the watersports centre in Latchi and sailed to the Blue Lagoon - you HAVE to see this! Overall, a really great villa with a fantastic location, very friendly owner and a holiday to remember! Highly recommended!

All organisation and booking easy and well executed. A beautiful and well maintained villa that has everything you need for home cooking, which we did on a few occasions.
