Home away from home
We were so comfortable here. The location is close to everything we needed and the yard is so beautiful. We had our dog with us and she had a ton of safe space to be out in the fenced in yard. The hosts are so kind and helpful. They really made us feel at home and went out of their way to help us feel comfortable. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Trish, Todd, Tuck & Cricket

Bio description of Animal Human Connection

Animal Human Connection is a veteran owned company that focuses on educational programs & products supporting and enhancing the bond between pets & their people. To read more about why Dwain and Judy Helm Wright decided to start this living family foundation, please check out the page on Frequently Asked Questions The symbol of the artichoke has great meaning for the Wrights in teaching and writing. Working with families, we see that frequently only the outer edges are exposed, which can be prickly and sometimes bitter to the taste. But, as you expose the artichoke and people to warmth, caring, and time, gradually the leaves begin to open and expose the real treasure–the heart. The artichoke also became a teaching lesson when Judy, as a young military mother, moved her family into military housing in California to find a surprising collection of artichokes planted in their yard. Knowing it takes two years for the vegetable to grow, Judy realized the original gardener never saw the fruits of their labor, but planted the artichokes anyway. Judy was reminded by this experience that many times in life our actions toward others are felt by people we will never meet, but we plant the seeds of kindness anyway.
