About this property

Replace the hustle and bustle of the city for the solitude of the forest!

Beautiful 1 bedroom cabin. It is the attention to detail and intricate wood work that gives this little house the perfect mountain cabin feel. Enjoy your get away to Glacier, Washington all tucked into the foothills of the Mount Baker National forest. Access to hiking and mountain biking trails from your front door. Located in the closest town to the Mount Baker Ski area for winter fun access.
The kitchen is well equipped and sparkly clean. There is complimentary local coffee and tea provided. It is bright and cheerful and provides a great place to entertain and make wonderful meals after a full day in the mountains or by the river. If you prefer to do some barbecuing, there is a gas barbecue provided as well.
There is one master bedroom which has a king sized bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress. Quality linens provided. With an electric "fireplace" heater, the master bedroom is cozy and relaxing.
The sofa in the living room makes a full size bed and provides sleeping for two more. Sofa sleeper has a firm and supported mattress with an additional foam mattress to pad to create a comfortable bed. There is a wood stove with wood provided in order to warm yourselves after a long day of skiing powder at the ski area. The wood stove warms the cabin thoroughly with minimal effort, but there is electric wall heat as well. There is a drying rack provided to dry your gear for the next day of shredding. A washer /dryer is available for use as well.
There is WI-FI access as well as a telephone land line. There is a smart TV so that you can stream your favorite movies and relax by the wood stove while resting for the following days adventure!
In the summer, the spacious deck is a perfect place for entertaining and relaxing. There is also a fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows and listening to the sounds of Glacier Creek flowing near by.
I hope that you will be very comfortable here and return to stay with us again!

Cozy cabin in the woods
Perfect as home base for excursions to Mt Baker National Forest. Cozy and relaxing for the two of us. Sitting on the porch at night under the redwoods listening to the nearby creek was very relaxing. Had a nice fire one night with s’mores. Warning, the restaurants close early!

Cabin in the woods
Lovely small home tucked in the woods in a peaceful association. Perfect for a weekend of snowshoeing at Mt. Baker. Equipped with most essentials and within close proximity to a grocery for those items you didn’t bring or aren’t available. The booking does indicate that Wi-Fi is available however it never worked nor was Wi-Fi accessible at the Chair 9 restaurant as specified in the cabin info. While this was a joyful and needed break from work and overall life online, a USB or Bluetooth capable speaker would have been useful/nice to have available for accessing music and other audio on our devices. Would definitely recommend
