The cabin is gorgeous and in a cute little neighborhood. We found that we had excellent service on our cell phones and the Wi-Fi worked well! The only annoying thing is the water is under a boil advisory, but was totally manageable. Our dog loved it! Close to a beautiful walk and 40 minutes world class hiking

We had a great time using this space during our trip to My Baker. Loved the kind size bed (could have been a little softer for our taste), the kitchen was pretty well stocked but if you’re cooks bring a cutting board because the options were a little goofy for us. Other then that, the fire place was great and the hot was perfectly HOT our whole stay! The neighborhood is super cute and easy to navigate.

We're happy to hear that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the outdoor hot tub and the indoor fireplace during your visit. My fiance and I stayed here for a quiet, relaxing birthday weekend. It was perfect for what we were looking for. The hottub was definitely the highlight of our stay, we used it a handful of times. The fireplace in the living room was super cozy and we pulled out the hide-a-bed for a comfy movie night in front of the fire. Although it was a rainy weekend, we took a scenic drive up Mt Baker to the ski area and stopped at Nooksack falls for some pictures.
Would highly recommend this cabin whether you're looking for an adventurous weekend near the mountains or a cozy weekend cuddled up inside (or a combo of both)!

The cabin was a perfect size for me and my partner with a surplus of amenities that made our stay very comfortable and stress free. We really appreciate the provided drinking water, as we did not bring hardly enough, and would recommend to any future guess to remember to bring enough for your stay. The little stove did wonders to heat up the entire space and we found the insulation of the cabin to be excellent at maintaining a comfortable temperature. Overall a 10/10 experience and we can't wait to rent again from them!

The cabin is very cozy and nice. The neighborhood is lovely. My only complaint is all the passive-aggressive signs posted around. We came out to relax and being reminded that forgetting to rinse a dish would subject us to an extra cleaning fee isn't very nice. I know that's the way a lot of VRBO places operate but it felt like a little much. Especially since we already pay a built-in fee to clean the place.

Hi Angela: Thank you for the 4-star review for Cabin #16! We are delighted to hear that you found the cabin to be "very cozy and nice". I'm not sure about the "passive-aggressive" part, but I would highly encourage you to ask to see the "Book Of Shame" at our office during your next stay. I can all but guarantee that you would immediately see why instructional signage is necessary when dealing with the general public. That being said; I would like to thank you for the exceptionally neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan
Awesome little cabin/house... perfect for a couple, maybe 4 folks if the couch has a pull out (didnt check). Kitchen was well stocked with most everything you need outside of supplies like spices, baking stuff, coffee, etc (dont forget to bring that yourself). Close to supply runs in Maple Falls and Glacier, however. Cabin was clean, plenty of towels and bedding, super handy mudroom, awesome hot tub and the whole place is nicely decorated. Only gripe is Mt Baker Lodging's key pick-up and drop-off program... its clunky and 20 years out-dated. Time to upgrade to keypads & codes to eliminate the stop in and out of town and risk of driving home (or to mt baker to ski on check out day) with the keys.
Overall a great place and will look at staying there again!

Dirty and overpriced
This cabin looks cute online, but is small and dirty. The bedsheets smelled unwashed our first night, so I washed them myself. The toilet needed repair, which we did ourselves. And my partner and I both went home with bug bites on our legs and stomachs. I contacted Mt. Baker Lodging with these complaints, which were blown off as being "unbelievable."

Hi Robin: Thank you for your review for Cabin #16. I have to say that this is a very disappointing review, and I have a very tough time believing everything that you have to say here. This cabin typically receives nothing but rave reviews...both for the cabin and for the quality of our housekeeping. The process works like this; the cabin is inspected subsequent to Guest departure, cleaned subsequent to Guest departure, inspected after being cleaned, and concierged prior to Guest arrival (you probably noticed that the outside and foyer lights were turned on, and the fireplace was turned up for you). This is a 4-step process. During this process, all appliances and incidentals are inspected to ensure that they are in good working order and repair. Any deficiencies are corrected prior to Guest arrival. Oddly, we never heard from you at anytime during your 3-night stay until such time as you checked-out with a strong hint that you were seeking some sort of refund. Very disappointing indeed! Respectfully, Dan
Sparkling clean, cozy, and comfy! 11/10 would recommend!
We booked this cabin hoping for a quiet White Christmas with just us and the dog. It exceeded expectations in every way! We enjoyed a TON of snow on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and the neighborhood was just perfect for walking--there is even a short trail along a creek that runs along the north side of the development. Close to Maple Falls and Glacier, it is also a beautiful drive up to Mt. Baker.
The place was immaculate and has everything you need--the kitchen is very well equipped, there is a TV with DVD player, and we hooked up our iPad via an HDMI cable. There is also a selection of random movies there. The king size bed is huge, the mattress decent (but after having a tempurpedic, I can never get over the jiggliness of ANY other bed). The hot tub is immaculately clean, though it only goes up to 102° (I prefer 106°). There was also a new BBQ grill which we did not use.
Things to note: the power went out in the entire community and never came back on (went out in middle of night, and we were checking out anyway the next day). However, the gas "wood stove" and the water heater both still functioned. There are battery-powered lanterns provided. Yay! Also, as they note, there is NO WI-FI or cell coverage. There was one random place in the neighborhood where you could get Verizon coverage--very strange.
I was so very happy to get about 20" of snow while we were there. Neighbors told us that was really unusual, though. But I'd definitely stay here again!

Only problem was no ac during heat wave. We understand ac is not needed most of year, but a small window unit would have been nice, or a warning during the reservation process that there is no ac.

Hi Joyce: Thank you for the 5-star review for family Cabin #16! We are delighted to hear that you "had a great time" at the cabin. No, unfortunately very few cabins-in-woods up here are equipped with air conditioning systems, and those that do are advertised as such. The heat was definitely unusual. In fact it set historic record temps! This 655 sq ft single story 1-bedroom cabin is equipped three opening windows...one in the bedroom and two in the living room. All have screens. A portable fan is also provided. While we always provide clean and well organized accommodations, we have no way of predicting the weather.
