It's also one of Sydney's most cycle-friendly suburbs, with bike paths that cry out to be explored.
Getting Around:
Walk around Surry Hills, Redfern, Chinatown and the city. Transport to anywhere in Sydney can be found at Central Station across the road.

Great location best thing about this Stay
This was a great & central location, however the accommodation was not very clean or well fitted out. There was not one glass in the entire place, there was big balls of dust on the floor & heaps of dirt (including dirty underwear) on the couch. The washing machine was broken & unusable. The aircon unit leaked so a large pool of water come back through the to the bedroom from the balcony area. The shower recess also seeped water out to the bathroom floor, as there was no curtain/edge and no spare linen/towels/mat was supplied until we requested it (delivered 3 days later & the day before we checked out). I wouldn't stay again.

I had a terrible experience with Made Comfy and would advise you to stay clear of booking with them. They may seem responsive at first, but then disappear and do not do anything to actually solve problems that arise. And many problems arose in the <1 week of my stay. In addition to the general dirtiness (especially of the bathroom floor), the washing machine broke the one and only time we tried to use it. It ruined several of our pieces of clothing and we had to take a sopping wet pile down the street to a laundromat and spend half a day there instead of exploring Sydney. Made Comfy said they would send someone to fix it, but no one showed up and there was no future communication. The worst issue happened the last night, when water from the street outside seeped under the wall and into our bedroom. It was gross, but again Made Comfy did not do anything to solve the issue, or really even acknowledge the health and sanitation risks.
