Austin's abundant sunshine and beautiful natural surroundings entices nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. There are several opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, such as hiking, biking, camping, and water sports of all kinds on the area's lakes and rivers. You'll find numerous award-winning golf courses to choose from, as well as serene botanical gardens and nature preserves where you can enjoy the local flora and fauna.



It's also know to be the "Live Music Capital of the World" and houses a large number of entertainment options and unique attractions along with hundreds of music venues. The resort is located just two short blocks from the city's infamous 6th street where there is almost 200 musical acts each night of the week. Sixth Street is distinctly Austin, Texas with its colorful and bustling array of bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. It is a sure bet for experiencing local characters and the vibrancy of the city.

Anniversary week

Came to visit Austin for the week to celebrate our anniversary. The property is convenient to everything. The food scene has a lots of choices. One of the more diverse cities we have been too. The property is great, the pool was heated, rec facilities were an added d bonus. We loved our stay!

Wyndham had everything we needed for a hot week in Austin - the pool and deck area was perfect. The location is awesome, short walk to all the great things on 6th. Unit was just as described and clean. Similar to other reviews, they are quite persistent with trying to sell the time share, but we knew this prior and were firm we were not interested. I would still recommend Wyndham to others traveling to Austin!

The room itself was everything we needed, and then some! Bonus to have access to rooftop pool and deck! Location made it easy to walk to places in downtown, and close to the free shuttle for ACL - if you can luck out getting this place for one of those weekends. Communication was best I have ever had for a VRBO, the entire process was smooth and positive. We will try to stay here again!!

Great spot to explore Austin

We were in Austin for a few days to see a show at the Moody Theatre and stayed at this suite in the Wyndham Austin. It was perfectly located to explorer everything Austin has to offer! The property is a short walk to all the night life on 6th Street and day time essentials such as coffee shops, Wholes Foods, great restaurants and other shops and sights. The suite itself was comfortable, spacious, clean and stocked with plenty of dishes and cutlery. We didn't cook during our stay but it was nice to have a place to reheat leftovers and have a simple breakfast. Overall, we had a great stay in Austin and would recommend this property.

Perfect stay!

The condo was exactly what we expected and just what we needed for our four day conference in Austin. We enjoyed being able to cook our own meals and loved the awesome view of the city, especially at night! The resort staff was super friendly and responsive. We would highly recommend!
