Nestled among native trees this elevated holiday house overlooks tranquil wetlands. Water birds often wander up from the wetlands to forage in our front garden. The house is an easy 5 minute walk to the local market place shopping complex with a supermarket, multiple take away options, pharmacy, and other specialty shops. The kitchen and bathroom have been fully renovated recently with contemporary styling and amenities. The upstairs decking area directly overlooks the wetlands. Boasting many creature comforts of home including a large secure back yard for your pet to roam free in. You won't be disappointed with the location or the level of amenities. There is off street parking for up to 3 cars.

The tranquility...

We were very happy with our recent stay (Christmas to New Year 2020) perfect backyard space to accommodate our dog. Rooms plenty big enough, living space perfect. Balcony looking over wetland very peaceful and very close to 2 shopping complexes for food shopping or take away with short drive to beach no hassles. Exactly what we needed for this trip.

Richard was an excellent host and communicated quickly with me when messages were sent. The property was really well equipped and a good size for our families generally (we had 4 adults and 3 children). Comfortable sleeping for 2 adults, so if you have more adults, this might be a consideration as the single beds are more for children. Overall we had a lovely stay. Thanks Richard.

Good Place for a Weekend Away

I stayed at Richard's property whilst visiting friends in Queenscliff. The home was clean, comfortable and located opposite a great little nature reserve with some ducks and birds. Would recommend to others.

Perfect weekender

Comfortable, clean and spacious, perfect for a family weekend away. Great backyard space for my little dog to explore and a quick drive to anything you need in Ocean Grove. Would stay again, and recommend to others

Generally very happy with a couple of suggestions for improvement

Everything was good. Very clean, comfortable and well presented. Owners had gone to a great deal of trouble to add those extra homey touches. Also nice to have access to some CDs and DVDs without having to rent. Overall very happy with just a couple of minor issues. It was a bit difficult for a family of 7 with only one toilet. House was a bit hot in parts - upstairs and one of the bedrooms - air con did not seem to be as effective in these parts of the house.

Lovely house and really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend.

Myself and my family stayed here for a week and loved it. The house was very spacious, lovely and clean, a very tranquil part of the world, away from the hustle and bustle, very close to the supermarket, a 4 minute drive to the beach (or a very easy 15 minute walk). It was lovely to arrive at the house with simple things like milk in the fridge, condiments in the cupboard, shampoo and conditioner in bathroom so that you don't have to buy the basics as soon as you arrive at the property and of course the lovely welcome pack that was waiting for us on arrival. I would highly recommend staying at this property in Ocean Grove and we look forward to returning very soon. Thank you Richard and Zilpher for letting us stay in your home.
