Great spot on mountain

Lanny was great to deal with. All information required was provided. Everything was very easy. The space was great with plenty of room. Short walk to mogul track to ski out (2mins) and can ski in to door with enough speed! Kitchen well equipped and the hot tub was fantastic to relax in after skiing.

The perfect getaway!!

Tree Tops #8 was a perfect stay for our family of 4!! 5 out of 5 stars for sure. The 3 story condo was clean, well provisioned, and felt like a home away from home for us. Lanny responded very quickly to all messages, and when I misunderstood a component of the booking, Lanny responded graciously and quickly to help sort it out for us. Honestly, it felt like he was sharing his home with us. This unit is literally "ski in" from Mogul Track, which is a fairly flat connector from a central convergence of green runs. For "ski out," it is about 30-40m walk up a gentle grade back onto Mogul Track. If one needs to directly reach Village Centre for ski school drop off or getting lift tickets, it's about a 200m (2 minute) jaunt to Highway 33/Easy Street that our 5 year old could easily do. When on foot without skis, it's less than a 1 minute walk to one of the free shuttle stops, and it's about a 10 min walk to the village centre if your plans don't sync with the every 30 minute shuttle schedule. I'm not sure there are locations that are much more convenient than this. Oh, and it snowed like crazy during our stay, and Tree Tops had an army of plows and folks with shovels that had every hard surface shoveled by early morning, including the condo porch and steps. Nice sized bedrooms, 3 full baths, a nice kitchen and dining room, and comfy couches in the family room made for a great fit for our family without getting in each other's way. Lots of closet space, a boot dryer, ski storage, big washer and dryer, etc... we honestly didn't need a single thing. And the hot tub at the end of a long day on the slopes... hell yeah! Next time we'll take advantage of the Weber grill on the balcony. The single garage is a little narrow; our Acura MDX side mirrors were a tight fit width-wise through the door, and thus I assume a larger truck/SUV might need to use one of the extra parking spots. Overall, it was fabulous, and we would stay here again without hesitation. Thanks Lanny for making our family vacation just that much better!

A Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed both of our stays at Treetops #8. The condo is spacious, well equiped, clean and comfortable and just a short walk from access to the slopes.

Great Condo, Great Location!

We had a great stay at Tree Tops #8. Lanny was great to work with and responded very quickly to any questions. The condo is very spacious and has a great layout. The den/bedroom and bathroom on the bottom floor gave us all the extra space we needed. The beds are very comfortable! Close to the lifts and and just a very short walk to the trail to start skiing. The condo is also stocked with lots of cards and games to play. Will definitely look to stay here next time we visit.

We had a great time and had excellent experience with the booking and the stay at the property.

Nice condo, clean, comfortable and convenient. The condo description was very correct. The owner was very prompt responding to all question. Booking was without hassle and check out very straightforward and uncomplicated. I definitely recommend this property and want to thank Lanny James for his hospitality.

Nice home, good location

You can ski in and ski out, but about 60 steps or so, but pretty easy. House clean and in good shape. Beds are uncomfortable, but there are foam tops, I would recommend using them. The biggest thing is that despite what what the rental agreement says to do upon departure, you will be docked from your security deposit for not cleaning counters, bathtubs, vacuuming and sweeping.

Big White Treetops 8

Happy to recommend Treetops 8 to anyone wanting to stay at Big White. Clean, comfortable and well set-up for families. Easy to ski-in/ski-out but not so convenient for beginning kids who have to be transported daily to and from ski school where parking is always at a premium. Had a very bad dinner at Kettle Valley Steak House but The Woods was always good for lunch or dinner.

The property was very nice, well maintained and cosy

there was ample space for five adults and three children, although the children had to share a king bed. all bedrooms (one master and ensuite, one queen bed, one king (or two singles)and one bathroom)were on the top floor. on the bottom floor was a den ( single sofa bed) and three piece bathroom. the living area was on the middle floor with a dining room, kitchen and living room with gas fireplace and bigscreen tv. there is also a washer/dryer as well as a dishwasher. seating at the dining room table is for six, with an extra folding chair. another folding chair would be good to have. also on this level was the deck with a hottub. the townhouse is very well supplied with linen, extra blankets, dishes, pots and pans etc. hottub serviced every two days. there is indoor parking for one car but parking for a second car outside can be a lottery game. although it states ski in ski out, there is a small amount of walking to get to the trail and to get back to the townhouse. the complimentary big white shuttle to the village stops just at the end of the complex driveway. the owner is very helpful and accommodating. and is willing to assist in any way. all in all we had a wonderful time and it is a super place to spend christmas

I am from Kelowna and this is my ski home away from home. I can't ski all the time, so why not share the love!

Why they chose this property

Clearly, the skiing, but the Village is the Goldilocks of villages. Not too big and not too small. Just right.

What makes this property unique

The location is great and it is very easy to get to lifts. I've outfitted the unit as if it were my home, so I've replaced the "rental" quality appliances, beds, linens and towels. There are limited properties at BW that are fit 2 small families. Its the perfect size.
