About this property

Comfortable lake living, pool access, 3 miles to marina

Robin's Nest is a comfortable 1,100 square foot home with 2 large bedrooms and 2 full baths. Large open concept living room dining room combination. There is also a washer and dryer. This home has a wonderful large front porch, and a back screened in porch overlooking a huge back yard. There is a deck and grill for grilling out and a fully stocked kitchen with Keurig coffee pot, full size appliances and dishwasher, all utensils, pots and pans with dishes provided. We also provide all linens and towels, but please bring your own pool towel.

Located in well maintained Golden Pond Resort, you will have access to the shared pool as well as the kids play area with sandy volley ball court, tennis and basketball. Horseshoes and corn hold games available.

Located only 3 miles to Conely Bottom a full service marina, with plenty of parking for your boat and trailer.
Monticello is only 10 minutes away with a super Walmart for shopping and several restaurants for your dinning pleasure.
For additional shopping and dinning, Somerset is just 25 Minutes away. For car buffs we have the summer nights cruise, every 4th Saturday, April through October. You will also find Somersplash waterpark as well as a operating drive in theater.

Lake Cumberland may be the big draw, but for those into hiking, Cumberland falls is about 45 minutes away with organized trails as well as the famous moon bow.
The scenery alone is worth the drive.

Only located 6 minutes away there is Mill Springs Gristmill, Historic Civil War park and gift shop. Across the street from Mill Springs is Dunacan's store, good sandwiches

Lake Cumberland is a stone's throw away, Conley Bottom Marina only 3 miles, you will have full access to all your boating needs. Shopping and restaurants are only 10 minutes away in Monticello. Somerset is 20 minutes away and has plenty of restaurants to choose from, along with liquor stores.

Great house near the lake

The house was super cute, very clean, and perfect for a weekend getaway at the lake. Couches and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and it felt clean and cozy overall.

The house was very clean and well taken care of. I know for sure they clean well because I checked out, but forgot my gun under the pillow. When I went back after fishing before heading home, the cleaning service was there. The beds were stripped, it smelled of cleaning products, and the lady cleaning, was ass and elbows scrubbing the bathroom. I would definitely book again!

We highly recommend this property and the Golden Pond resort, especially, if you are on the South side of the lake. I spoke easily with the owner via text while on-site. It is very quite with lots of trees. Monticello is close, Conley Bottom marina and so is Cumberland Falls park. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The maintenance team was seen working in the area every day so they would have been available if needed, ( I do building maintenance so that is important to me). It was the off-season so we even got early check-in which was greatly appreciated! This rental is pet friendly. Walking my dog in the area every day was enjoyable. We will be back!!

What a gem!

Truly a great experience. Steve communicated everything clearly so check in was easy and he is quick to respond. The place is cozy and comfortable and close (but not too close) to everything. The pool was fabulous too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Extremely nice home in Irvine KY

We stay in a lot of VRBOs with our big family of 6 and this was by far one of the cleanest and nicest places we’ve stayed. So many conveniences were added that made the stay so easy (laundry detergent available, waters cold in fridge, slippers in closet, and sound machines in every bedroom just to name a few. This place has all new appliances and the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely book this place again.

There won't be any hot water coming after one person showers, there is no salt in the kitchen no pepper and for a 2 night stay there was only 1 dish washer tablet. Overall wouldn't recommend this stay for the money we paid.

I did check water heater and found no problem. I ran it with hot water in the tub for over 40 minutes before it ran out. You Had 6 people in a last minute stay, with a dog that you did not state on the reservation. I sent you information stating we do not supply paper products , soaps or toiletries. We sure do not supply spices or food of any kind. We do put two dish pods under the sink to get you started only. Sometimes people just like to complain to try and get a discount when if they would just read the info problems could be a voided. Steve Allen manager.

Home away from home

Very Clean and comfortable, was there 8 days practicing and fishing the Toyota Series Championship, would certainly try and book this property again if I have another Tournament on Cumberland. Was able to park two trucks with bass boats easily, couldn't have asked for better accommodations.

Robin’s Nest cabin was clean and comfortable, and only a 7 minute drive to Conley Bottom marina on Lake Cumberland. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the cabin, but it met our needs for a long weekend in the lake!
