Welcome to 48@Baristo! One of the and most modern gated communities Palm Springs has to offer. Located in the heart of Palm Springs, our home offers easy access to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Soaring ceilings enhance the great room, consisting of the living room, dining room & open ultra chic modern kitchen, equipped with quality stainless steel appliances, tile flooring and granite counter-tops.

The private pool & spa located in the enclosed courtyard is visible and accessed through sliding glass doors, creating an serene indoor/outdoor retreat. A dramatic staircase leads to the 2nd Floor Master Suite with a balcony overlooking the pool and the Loft/Den looking down into the great room.

Our 2006 architectural masterpiece is an exclusive private residence, with its own private heated pool and spa. The home is beautifully appointed with classic mid-century furnishing throughout; the Great room also contains a gas fire fireplace and wood beamed ceilings, which compliments the adjacent dining/kitchen area. A bedroom (en suite) is located on the main floor; ascend the staircase to the 2nd floor where you will find the Loft/Den with its own full bath, closet and cable television. Peer over the wall of the loft for a sweeping bird’s eye view of the great room. The 2nd floor also consists of another full sized bedroom (en suite) with private balcony and walk-in closet. A stack-able washer and dryer is conveniently located in the hall closet.

For our visitors that need to stay ‘connected’; we provide unlimited Long Distance service within the U.S.A. and Wi-Fi Internet access throughout.

Luxuriate in the Palm Springs lifestyle as most locals do. Exceptional (sunny) weather happens just about every day, making the climate perfect for endless outdoor activities, such as golf, tennis, hiking and horseback riding. Ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway up to 8,516 Feet to the top of Mount San Jacinto where a State Park awaits. Capture spectacular views of the surrounding valley extending all the way towards the San Andreas Fault and Salton Sea. Hikers seize the moment to appreciate nature and explore the wilderness atop the mountain.

Visit the Palm Springs Desert Museum or the nearby Spa Resort Hotel & Casino, which offers fine restaurants, gaming, and natural healing waters. There are world-class golf courses and an abundance of shops & restaurants, all within minutes of our relaxing and comfortable residence.

For the smart shoppers; the Desert Hills Premium Outlet Mall is only 20 minutes outside of town, in Cabazon with over 120 designer stores. Or head over to “El Paseo” in Palm Desert (AKA “Rodeo Drive” of the Desert). While visiting Palm Desert spend some time at The Living Desert, a one of a kind botanical park and wildlife experience.

Amazing Condo

We (2 adults and our dog) stayed 8 weeks at this well appointed condo. It is in a quiet and conveniently located complex near restaurants and a grocery store. John, our host, was friendly, responsive, and helpful. Highly recommended!

Great time again

This was our second time staying at this property. The unit has a great location, close to downtown and other amenities. It's clean, modern and well equipped and the private pool is a real bonus. John is always attentive to any issues. Highly recommended. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great Location, Comfortable and Quiet

The gated development of 48 units was quiet and well-situated to grocery stores and Downtown Palm Springs was in easy walking distance. Overall it was comfortable and clean and met our needs during our 6-week stay. The unit does have a few minor maintenance issues which we pointed out to John, the owner and he was communicative and responsive. One omission in the online description is the fact that the pool is not heated and doing so would be a significant added expense. We chose not to heat it. One other minor annoyance is the noise the pool equipment makes. The pool and pool equipment are in the enclosed, rather small courtyard and it is uncomfortably loud when running. It didn’t prove to be a big deal - the pool guy was kind enough to set to cycle to be on mostly when we were not in the unit. And, for the times we were able to sit outside, it was easy to switch the unit off temporarily and back on once we went back inside. But none of these issues would dissuade us from renting it again. We enjoyed our time there.

Snowbirds in Palm Springs

We had a wonderful stay at John's home in PS. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. We loved being able to BBQ if we weren't heading out to the many local restaurants for dinner. It was lovely to have our own pool to enjoy in the afternoon. The complex is located close to many amenities. It was a short walk to Ralph's for groceries, Starbucks and a pilates studio. It is also only 20 minutes to walk downtown for dinner or your morning coffee at Koffi! John was very responsive to calls or texts. When we arrived there was an issue with the internet but he came by and got it sorted the next afternoon. He also gave us some suggestions for restaurants to try and places to explore in and around PS. He was amazing to deal with and we would definitely rent his home again.

Very nice place to stay

The antique furniture, interesting artwork, and general decor make this a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay while visiting Palm Springs. The kitchen has everything you need and the gas grill on the patio is a nice alternative for cooking. The two car garage is handy and it is easy to come and go through the gated access at the end of the street.

First Time Palm Springers

This was our first time in Palm Springs. We originally booked a property almost a year before coming but it fell through 6 weeks before we were to leave. Luckily we found John's rental property. John was easy to get in touch with right from the start. He answered all my questions as was very easy to deal with. The property is exactly as illustrated. The beds were very comfortable and the unit extremely clean. My mother stayed with us for almost 2 weeks and the separation by having a downstairs suite was perfect. Our son also came for a few days and there was a futon available for him to sleep on in the loft. The kitchen was very well equipped for me as I like to cook. I was even able to make pizza from scratch! We really lucked out with the yard. We had nice sun in the morning and great shade in the afternoon when it got really hot. We were able to sit out enjoying dinner most nights. The location suited our needs very well as it was a short walk to Ralph's grocery store, Starbuck's and the Swiss Donut Shop (fantastic donuts located in the Sunrise Shopping plaza). It was about a 20 minute walk to downtown which was great for the Thursday night Street Fair. John made us feel at home immediately and we enjoyed our stay in his condo very much. We look forward to returning.
