This is the best of both worlds. Great quiet area with amazing amenities and yet close to everything you can imagine. The downtown Muni is just around the corner, 15-20 minutes to most of the tourist attractions: Union Square, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, Ocean Beach, Japanese Tea Garden, and much more. We stayed for 3 nights and it was great. Close to lots of great restaurants, and the place came with everytbing we needed. The parking spot in the driveway was an added bonus. I saw another review mention the walkway being dark; however, there are two sets of motion detector lights. The neighborhood is also super safe, so we never felt like someone could be waiting down it.

Great place to stay while in San Francisco

My granddaughter and I stayed her for a couple nights while visiting San Francisco. We felt safe while here and the location is two blocks away from public transportation. Boris was very accommodating when we arrived early and rested in the courtyard while the cleaner was finishing. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Parkside was a great choice for us!

Parkside met all our needs. It was clean, had a sufficient kitchen for our breakfasts, and generally was just right for us! (I do wish the pillows had been softer and had longer pillowcases.) Seamless check in, easy to access, well-located.

An easy, restful base to work from

Had a quick technical job in the city with an old client, and needed a simple, easy place to put my head at the end of each day, shower, etc. - and this was an excellent option. Great coffee and food within a block, and a friendly, mellow neighborhood.

Great Spot

Cute backyard entrance apartment. 2 Double beds were comfortable. Right off Taraval which has a bunch of good ethnic food spots. Bonus: I left my ipad like a dope, and Boris contacted me and arranged to have my friend come grab it from him. Great spot overall.

Heatless in SFO

The owner had turned off the central heat and left us with a space heater that we had to move from room-to-room. He graciously refunded our final 2 nights though which was great. The place was very clean and well-located.
