Not quite as advertised

Resort amenities are not included as advertised, you must pay extra. The carpets were unclean, broken lights, bugs throughout the home. Just overall not as clean as expected. Would not book again.

Has potential to be great

Needs to be deep cleaned. Roaches present in the kitchen..sink in kitchen backed up..stood in water every time we showered..no pool skimmer..screen door broken..all tv remotes batteries dead..tv difficult to work/some not connected to anything..overall nice home but definitely needs to be cleaned better

Nice place for a golf crew

As six grown men, everything about this place was pretty awesome. The only drawback would be the pool and hot tub are an extra fee to have heated and being it was February the pool was pretty cold and unusable. Other than that, everything about the place is awesome.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this property back in 2019 and it was so nice to come back! My family and I enjoyed the pool area and the heated pool. The kitchen area is a the best spot in the house, we had a great time cooking and having meals together. The Harry Potter and the NYC bedrooms were the favorites for the kids and teenagers. We hope we are able to come back soon!

The property we stayed in was perfect for our family vacation. Like many stated previously minor touches are needed to the property but overall the house is beautiful and clean. Management had someone to the property asap to fix an appliance that wasn’t working. I would recommend this property.

Nightmare Vacation rental

Upon entering the home the smell of gas was so bad the fire dept had to be called and they found a gas leak at the dryer. The bed linen was as unclean, I had to spend money to buy bed sheets for the beds and pillow protectors. The mattress looked really old with stains. The home only had 6 bath towels and 4 wash cloths. We had no way of drying clothes. We found roaches in the home. The property management only responded to my calls/messages after I informed them that I had called 911.No vacuum in the home. The property is very poorly maintained and I would not recommend for any humans to occupy. I requested a refund but no response from the property management or owner. The stay there was very stressful.

Te house need a lick of paint, walls etc clearly having been scuffed over time of being rented, but this didn't detract from the stay.The pool bar at the main resort also had sporadic opening times not in line with what was published, so this also needs commenting on, but great location, lovely pool at the villa and the resort, and a thoroughly enjoyable trip, thank you.

Lots of damages and infestation

Not at all what I expected, but we tried to make the best of it. Old rundown furniture. Insect infested. And an extra fee to heat the Jacuzzi, which I didn't pay BTW! Besides that, there's plenty of room and in a nice location/neighborhood.

Infestation

Had issue with infestations with roaches not only in kitchen but in the rooms and the ants as well was told a terminator would go by no one stopped by. Our family is clean in that area and the roaches were a HUGE problem.

Ohio family vacation

The communication with the rental property owners was awful. I messaged them several times and they answered me once. The place was not clean when we arrived. The listing features a hot tub but you have to pay daily to heat the hot tub and pool. The kitchen is full of cockroaches. They said they sprayed after I complained but they were still there.

Beware

The pictures on VRBO do NOT match the condition of the property. The only fantastic thing was the pool and even that we had to clean garbage out of before we could swim. The couch was ripped and covered by a blanket. The laminate is peeling off the cabinets in the kitchen. The pool table and cues were broken and unusable as were all the darts. When you try to contact management they were impossible to get ahold of. You cannot turn the AC below 72 making it hard to be comfortable. The sheets on the beds and pillows all had stains on them. It was sad the condition the house is in. The location is fantastic, but we won’t come back to this resort again, due to inaccurate description of the house.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The outside of the home was nice. Very limited items on the kitchen. We had to private a t-towel and dish cloth and wash cloths as none were in the home. No hot pads to take a hot item out of the oven either. The home definitely showed wear and tear. Needs painting. Towel rack fell apart when you touched it. Cockroaches running around in the kitchen. The pool was nice but a little dirty

Minor Upgrades

The House was ok. The couldn’t enjoy the game room since the pool stick was broke and the other game table was broke. The carpet needs to be pulled up and removed it was dirty. The towels that we were given was old . The walls were all scratched up. There is no cellphone service in the house at all. We had to go outside to make/take a call or a text. The pool was green when we arrived I reported it and they did send someone to clean it right way. I feel they just need to do a little upgrade to make it look like the pictures. But the over all stay was good we enjoyed staying together instead of staying in a hotel
