About this property
A little warmth in the heart of the central highlands
Nestled among the tall timber on the edge of the Wombat State Forest you will find Lily’s Farm. We are a 10 minute drive from Daylesford, the most popular weekend getaway destination in Victoria. Our studio apartment is warm, comfortable and well-appointed with a fully equipped kitchen and all modern conveniences you would expect. Outside you’ll find a rustic paved area with an open fire to gather around and while away the cool evenings. You’ll find the fridge and the pantry well stocked. Don’t want to cook breakfast? No problem, pop in to our local café down at the Glenlyon General Store. There’s some vintage sound equipment in the studio. Spin an LP or play a cassette. Oh, and there’s a DVD player and a video player. Video – anyone remember that? We have a jetty out across the dam. Grab a glass of wine and sit and watch the lilies fade away as the evening closes in. A haven for native wildlife, we have our usual crop of visitors in the early morning or the late afternoon. Don’t be surprised to find a kookaburra at your window or a kangaroo outside your door. You will be sharing the property with your hosts Lee and Trevor, but you are free to roam the 5 acres at will. There is a 90 metre dam. Take a swim if you wish. Down at the back of the property we have a seasonal creek. It usually flows between June and December. Please note that we (the owners) live on site.

A cosy but spacious studio style cottage. We were able to sit in the garden and watch the kangaroos, rosellas, ducks and kookaburras.
Trevor and Lee not only equipped the cottage with all you could possibly need but were very helpful re local knowledge.
We loved staying in this amazing studio apartment. So many special touches and located in a beautiful setting abundant with local wildlife. Highly recommended!
The studio is beautifully presented and well thought out. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with whatever you needed - just in case you forgot something! The area is quiet and peaceful. Trevor the host was responsive to queries. Just be aware you need to travel down one gravel road to get to the property and reception in the area wasn’t great so we couldn’t use internet on our phones. Overall an enjoyable experience and we would come back!
I stayed for three nights. It outshone anywhere I have stayed before. The holiday home is a credit to its owners whom I thank
for their thoughtfulness and generosity. Will be staying again!!
The property was lovely. Cosy and comfortable, when we got there the heat was on as well as some candles. The hosts seriously thought of everything with fresh bread and cupboards full, even lined the baking trays in the oven. Was a lovely stay and would certainly stay there again and have recommended to our friends and family.
A fabulous bush location. Great attention to detail everything you could possibly need plus more eg homemade bread and a bottle of wine. Thanks Trevor and Lee
Wow... Where do I begin? From quick and effective communication in supporting our request for an hour earlier check-in so our little 8 month old wasn't overtired. Not only did they approve this request; Lee and Trevor had gone above and beyond to provide resources and a space to accomodate for our little one. They provided a high chair, bouncer, nappies, change mat, wipes, books etc... The fridge and pantry was well stocked with ammenities and treats, along with effort of making home made bread; which was just divine.
We were in awe when the yard was surrounded with kookaburras, rosellas, ducks upon arrival.
We were left to our privacy, which we appreciated immensely.
The studio cabin was cozy, warm, comfortable clean and well maintained. I really cannot fault this place.
We highly recommend staying here, it surely will not disappoint.
Loved staying at the Farm studio! It was a fantastic relaxing getaway. On arrival the place was immaculate and there were candles, fresh bread, and wine. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a nice big bathroom with lots of towels and great bathroom products to use, so if you forget anything, they have covered it all! The place studio is so cosy with extra blankets, board games, books ect and there is a heater and aircon too. We got to see some wildlife too. It's only a 10min drive to Daylesford. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our weekend away. There was fresh bread and cold champagne when we arrived which was lovely. The property was super cute and very cosy. Would highly recommend staying here.
Warm and cozy place to stay. Owners have thought of many details - records, CD’s and DVD’s. Beautiful loaf of home made bread, porridge, wine and Tim Tams. The lights were on as were the heater and electric blanket when we arrived. The main house was close by but owners were very respectful with privacy but there if we needed anything. Great shower! Missed a microwave to reheat takeaways when we were too lazy to go for dinner. Lovely watching kangaroos, kookaburras and rosellas morning and afternoon. Thank you Lee and Trevor.
