Willygunyah is a nicely upgraded Coffin Bay original. An affordable comforable family home.

Originally built as part of Coffin Bay`s earliest accommodation complex called Siesta Lodge, Willygunyah continues the tradition of providing an authentic shack experience. With only the picturesque Oyster Walk separating you from water`s edge and the stunning coastline view out to Rabbit Island, Long Beach and the Coffin Bay National Park, you`ll find a safe swimming beach out the front where you can relax and unwind, with a table and benches overlooking the beach so you can watch the sun go down.

Whether you meander left or right along the Oyster Walk, lined with quandong trees, templetonia and sheoaks, you will always have the smell of the sea and the sound of seabirds nearby. An easy 25-minute walk or a quick 3-minute drive away is Coffin Bay township, where you`ll find the supermarket, fuel, other amenities, nearby dining options and a feed of oysters naturally! Discover some of the delicious locally caught seafood, regional wines and produce, Minniribbie Farm Berkshire pork and locally distilled Gin. Perhaps go for a paddle, read a book under the verandah listening to the sound of the waves, go for a fish, or maybe go bush to explore the natural beauty of Coffin Bay National Park with its secluded beaches, rock and beach fishing, surfing and amazing wildlife. Whatever you decide to do, Willygunyah is close enough to things but far enough from the hustle and bustle.

This beach shack`s charm is all around it, and is suitable for couples and families alike. It has a simple but practical layout of the four bedrooms:

Bedroom 1 and 2 are at the front both have sea views
Bedroom 3 has a video player with children`s videos.
Each bedroom has a ceiling fan except Bedroom 3 which has a wall mounted fan.

Linen is supplied at this property. Guests must bring their own beach towels.

The kitchen is basic but well equipped with electrical appliances, and with a Weber kettle BBQ and 4 burner BBQ outside, it makes up for there not being an oven...besides who needs an oven when you`re on holidays.

The convenience of 2 bathrooms is great for families or a bunch of friends.

Open plan dining/living area has plenty of seating and large windows right across the front that make the most of the sea views and great to sit and watch the world (including the town emus) pass by! There`s a ceiling fan and reverse cycle unit in this area. A games room has jigsaws and games aplenty. Outside dining on a covered front verandah fringed with a trailing honeysuckle vine is perfect to watch the sunset while waiting for the Weber roast to cook.

Behind our shack is our external fully enclosed BBQ room with 4 burner BBQ plus table and chairs for eight...and hanging proud is an original sign from Siesta Lodge!

Please note: Willygunyah does not have a stove or oven but does have 2 electric frypans, various other electrical appliances, a portable induction hotplate, plus a 4-burner gas BBQ and a Weber kettle BBQ.

It is also not available for stays with pets.
