Regent Cottage - Modern Cottage with Character.

Welcome to Regent Street. A unique cottage – a recent build with clever use of recycling & stylish character touches that create a special atmosphere. This modern well insulated/double glazed home is north facing – catching all day sun and expansive views to Mt Dobson. A log fire ensures cosy winter warmth and double doors open onto a sun-drenched terrace and rear garden for that late afternoon drink or reading spot. Spacious living areas flow from the well equipped kitchen/walk in pantry to open plan dining and the lounge.
Located on the edge of town, it is a 5 minute walk to Fairlie town centre with its cafes, shopping area and the world famous ‘pie shop'.

A golf course, river walk & children’s playground are close by.

Fairlie is an ideal base to explore the McKenzie Country…
• Close to ski fields; Mt Dobson 30 minutes.
• Lake Tekapo & the ‘Dark Sky Reserve’ (30 minutes)
• Tekapo Hot Pools (all year) & outdoor iceskating rink (winter)

Perfect location and quiet

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect and the accommodation was well equipped. We enjoyed making a fire on the cool nights and sitting in the back yard after a day of hiking.

The Regent Cottage is a wonderful base to explore the MacKenzie District. It is spacious, sparkling clean and very well stocked! The raspberry bushes were a wonderful bonus and so delicious and abundant!

Quiet Family Getaway

We had a lovely stay with a home away from home feel, cosy fireplace and warm comfy beds. Nice selection of books and board games. Almost too convenient to the Bakehouse and famous pies. Scenic views of mountains. Excellent communication from hosts and easy check in/out.

Fairlie retreat

Paulines home was so warm and comfortable, with everything you could pissibly want. The beds were super comfy and the fire kept us very toasty. To top it off, there was Buster the friendly neighbours cat. He visited everyday and totally owned it.

For the MacKenzie Race
