Regent Cottage - Modern Cottage with Character.

Welcome to Regent Street. A unique cottage – a recent build with clever use of recycling & stylish character touches that create a special atmosphere. This modern well insulated/double glazed home is north facing – catching all day sun and expansive views to Mt Dobson. A log fire ensures cosy winter warmth and double doors open onto a sun-drenched terrace and rear garden for that late afternoon drink or reading spot. Spacious living areas flow from the well equipped kitchen/walk in pantry to open plan dining and the lounge.
Located on the edge of town, it is a 5 minute walk to Fairlie town centre with its cafes, shopping area and the world famous ‘pie shop'.

A golf course, river walk & children’s playground are close by.

Fairlie is an ideal base to explore the McKenzie Country…

Quiet Family Getaway

We had a lovely stay with a home away from home feel, cosy fireplace and warm comfy beds. Nice selection of books and board games. Almost too convenient to the Bakehouse and famous pies. Scenic views of mountains. Excellent communication from hosts and easy check in/out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was warm, sunny, had everything we needed including a fantastic claw foot bath. There were amazing views and it gave us easy access to the whole MacKenzie region. It was just really easy to stay there. Great communication from the hosts. Highly recommend it

Fairlie for the Half Marathon

We had a really good stay in the house on Regent Street. A chilly winters afternoon when we arrived but the fire warmed the place up nicely and it was easy to keep the house warm.Everything was there we could have wished for.Very much enjoyed and recommended to others.

Fairlie retreat

Paulines home was so warm and comfortable, with everything you could pissibly want. The beds were super comfy and the fire kept us very toasty. To top it off, there was Buster the friendly neighbours cat. He visited everyday and totally owned it.

Perfect spot!

We really loved this neat cottage, located a stone's throw from the pretty village of Fairlie. It was perfectly clean, cozy, and welcoming, with everything we needed. The fresh raspberries and sweet peas to pick were the icing on the cake! We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Great central location for day trips to Timaru or cruising the beautiful backroads of Canterbury. Allan and Pauline were great communicators, very friendly and supportive. Buster the neighbourhood cat was a nice addition too.
