We absolutely loved our stay. The view and atmosphere of the home were unbeatable making for a very relaxing family holiday. Well stocked kitchen make for easy cooking and cleaning. Would have loved a cafe or two within walking distance but equally loved being on a quieter and remote beach - you can’t have everything.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, Kate! We're thrilled to hear you had such a relaxing family holiday and enjoyed the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere. It's great to know the well-stocked kitchen made things easy, and we agree — the quiet, remote beach is something special, even if it means sacrificing a nearby café or two! We'd love to welcome you back anytime. - PHH Team
I can’t say enough about location and views right on the beach, gorgeous, wake up to sun rising and birds chirping everyday

Lovely house, well equipped and comfortable, and in a wonderful location. Couldn't have been happier. Very comfortable beds, which is not always the case in these types of rentals.

Where do I start? We were told we couldn't have an earlier check-in, when in fact we found out there had been no previous guests for days before we arrived. We arrived to find the pool absolutely disgusting. It was caused from the storm the previous week, but hadn't been cleaned. After 4 attempts on day of arrival we were fobbed off by the people managing the house, only to be told they were waiting to hear from 'property manager'. Fed up the next morning, we demanded to speak to someone in charge. Finally we were put on to someone and had a pool cleaner arrive later in the day which took him hrs to clean, it was that bad. The house itself is on prime beachfront and is absolutely beautiful.. just really disappointed that we didn't have a pool for the 1st 24 hrs of our 4 day stay. Communication with Prestige Holiday Hones were very poor. I feel for the owners of this beautiful house, having such bad management
The property is stunning from the moment you walk in. The rear area provides an incredible view and space to enjoy food, drinks, games, etc. The driveway and garage are incredibly narrow for larger vehicles and, unfortunately, the property was dirty in a handful of places, which is the only reason I haven't rated our stay 5/5. There was a pair of underwear in one bedroom, dirty patches on the bathroom floor, and a food wrapper behind a bed. There are also no provisions like cooking oil, salt and pepper, sauce or milk, so you have to bring everything you might need for cooking meals or making coffee. Also thought it was odd we had to empty the dishwasher before leaving, when usually a cleaner / housekeeper would do this.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Lauryn. We're so glad you enjoyed the stunning views and entertaining spaces — it’s great to hear the property made a strong first impression and provided a relaxing setting for your stay. That said, we sincerely apologise for the cleanliness issues you encountered. This is not the standard we strive for, and we’ll be following up with our cleaning team to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
We also appreciate your comments about the kitchen provisions and driveway access — your insights help us improve the experience for future guests. Thank you again for your honest review, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back for a flawless stay next time. - PHH Team
Our stay in this uniquely located home was pretty close to perfect. A superb beach right out the front meant effortless fun with the kids during the day, while evenings were spent relaxing in luxury around the home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property. Look forward to returning one day!

The property was well equipped and in a fantastic location right on the beach. The perfect spot for a getaway with friends.
I did have to follow-up with the host to request check-in information, as I hadn’t received any information in the lead up to our visit

Stayed at this spectacular property for a 60th birthday celebration with international guests. 10 people accommodated comfortably with plenty of space. The agent was very professional, commutative and a pleasure to deal with. Location superb with direct access to beach and a view to die for. Will definitely be back.

Hi Diane, Thank you for your wonderful review! We are excited to have you back soon!
Had a wonderful time away with friends, so relaxing, pool was great & the location was bliss, sleeping & waking up to the sounds of the surf was beyond words
We had storms during our stay mainly in the afternoons but watching them roll in over the ocean cooling down the day was such a treat & so picturesque
Close to food shops & only a short drive to Noosa for restaurants & a lil cheeky shop
Only thing I was concerned about was house wiring, had little zaps turning on appliances or light switches, In all of the house, I’d say with the amount of rain we had may have added to the problem
Other then that, loved the place

Absolutely amazing property Everything the photos said
Impossible to communicate when booking as no phone calls until the very end then she was abrupt and rude. Felt unsure of booking as could only communicate by the website. Not even a email to the very end
House was incredible and the view was unreal. Thank you

Hi Rhonda
Glad you enjoyed the house - it is very frustrating booking through these sites as they will not allow us to exchange phone numbers till after the house is booked. Only then are we given numbers. I apologise if the portal message exchange came across as abrupt and rude it was not intentional.
I sent several text messages to you and your partner on the check in day to arrange a meeting time to fit in with your lunch at the local surf club.
We meet and greet all our guests at the house and explain the departure process I enjoyed meeting you.
Kind regards

Hi Dolores,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, even if your experience wasn’t great. We've reviewed your booking and we're glad to see that all the issues were reported during your stay. All concerns have been actioned. We look forward to having another opportunity to make amends and deliver an unforgettable experience to you.
We booked this house for 5 adults and 4 kids (17, 14, 7, & 6) and upon accepting our booking, I received a call the next day to say they had to cancel it because we had "little kids" and "the stairs were too steep that they might get injured" and "there are no fences so not safe for the kids".
What total BS. When I tried to call the Real Estate agency to discuss further, they didn't return my call despite numerous attempts.
If you don't want under 18s in your house, don't let us book for kids as part of the booking process. A house full of 18+ are more likely to party and break stuff anyway!

Great location and house but is in need of some TLC.
Pros- the location is absolutely fantastic and the house is spacious and very liveable .
We had 3 couples and there is easily room for 2 more without being in danger of feeling crowded.
Property is overlooking the beach with direct beach access assuming you’re ok to walk through some grassy dunes to get there.
The BBQ was clean and ready for use.
Entry to the property was seamless.
Cons - this property has NO Airconditioning, which was completely unexpected given the nightly tariff we paid.
There are Airconditioning outlets in some of the bedroom’s, but they have been intentionally decommissioned.
This means all the bedrooms other than the master bedroom have little breeze from the ocean and were quite hot.
Cannot imagine what it would have been like during the recent heatwave we had.
The property description is silent on Airconditioning, meaning they haven’t said they do or don’t have it……we assumed incorrectly.
The dishwasher didn’t work. We contacted the property manager who sent an email apologising for the inconvenience but no action taken.
Not really good enough.
The kitchen is lacking in cooking appliances. We could only find a small wok to cook some Pancakes, which isn’t sufficient for a party of 6.
At 55, I’m not all that keen to be sitting on converted milk crates when trying to enjoy a drink with our friends as the sun goes down. This may be seen as suitable outdoor entertaining setting in some people’s minds, but it’s sadly lacking for the demographic mostly likely to be renting this property.
The pool hadn’t been cleaned prior to our arrival.
It had sand and plant litter on the bottom and some random long black hairs on the surface, meaning it hasn’t just blown in just prior to our stay.
Overall, I don’t think we would choose to stay again given it’s the little things that make the stay enjoyable.
The house is in a great location and the view and proximity to the beach is perfection, but the lack of airconditioning, a working dishwasher, an unclean pool and insufficient cooking appliances just grinds a little too much to warrant a return visit.

Hi Peter,
Thank you for leaving a review, even if your experience wasn’t great. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. This property does not have air conditioning. We encourage our guests to contact us if something's not right at the property, especially if it is not cleaned to your satisfaction upon arrival but we are glad to see that you did. However, no one is available to attend to the issue immediately. Rest assured that we are on top of this and we will do a follow-up to ensure that problems are covered. We hope to serve you better in the future.
Awesome resort style house right at, sort of private beach.. house itself was very boutique, with lots of natural lighting all over. Enjoyed star gazing every night and we had VIP view to witness the moon eclipse... kids had so much fun in the pool as well as the beach.. thumbs up for sure!!!

Location, location. This is the best part of the property. We had a lovely time, bed were comfortable, bathrooms new and overall fairly well appointed.
The property itself is on the tired side and needs funds invested to bring it to the “prestige” level.
Pool is in poor condition.
The outdoor furniture was extremely uncomfortable and could not accommodate our party.
wood planks on milk crates to sit on around a low coffee table?
This is where you want to spend most of the time so investing here would make a big difference. Recommend to BYO camper chairs.
Everything else was great.

Response from VrboOwner on 13 November 2020
Hi Sandra
Thank you for your review; I glad that you had a lovely holiday.
Saltwater is a comfortable large home and we try very hard not to over sell it and it is priced accordingly. The luxury holiday house next door that doesn't sleep nearly as many guests is much more expensive but enjoys the same great views. It is always an option if you are willing to pay a lot extra.
The pool is clean and serviced prior to every guest so I can assure you that it is well maintained.
The outdoor furniture is hand made by a local Noosa furniture maker and it works well in this harsh environment where everything rusts so quickly.
Thank you for your feedback.
Regards
