The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. The restrooms had plenty of towels and bathing supplies. The kids books and games were a big hit with our kiddos.
The stay was very enjoyable. Great place to hang out with family and visit. Big table for games and a well-appointed kitchen. Nice backyard. We were close to everything we needed and the hosts were promot to reply when we had a question. We will stay there again the next time we are in town.
Great space...all aspects of a home away from home were there. Close to some many venues..(e.g. H.E.B., food..stores). About 8 minute ride to our family we were visiting. Great comms with hosts. Definitely a repeat if available on our next trip.
We were in town for a family meeting which had the potential to be stressful. Therefore we decided a comfortable home would be preferable over a hotel. The meeting went well and our friends joined us for the weekend. We loved our cottage!! We cooked breakfast in the easy to navigate kitchen each morning and played games and the dining table each evening. The decorations were cozy and cute and the house was very well equipped and appointed. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again should business bring us back. The owners answered every question asked promptly and didn’t require an onerous exit process. We would wholeheartedly recommend this home in the future! Give them a try should you be looking for a great central space to stay in Abilene!
The pictures do not do this home justice! The Bluebird House is very spacious and cozy. It was easy to feel right at home. Convenient central Abilene location in a peaceful neighborhood. The host had the place well stocked with bath towels, pool towels, and family size toiletries. The hot tub was the icing on the cake - clean and relaxing! Highly recommend staying here.
This was a 2 night stay as we had business in Lubbock and Dallas. This home was convenient to the freeway and had shopping and dining around it.

Nice kitchen-main room nice shower—2nd bathroom had broken water in shower unusable-so we had one shower for 3 adults-2 bedrooms nice 3rd had a futon not so comfortable-unfortunately all pillows on beds were flat and hard -liked the living room really spacious with dinning area-honest review—it worked for our purpose but will not be staying again -outside yard unkept
We enjoyed our stay !at the Bluebird House while dropping off our daughter to begin her freshman year at ACU. The location worked out great for us, and we enjoyed the decor and the hot tub in the back!
