Something for everyone to enjoy their best beach vacation ever! Sunset Island in Ocean City MD is a privately gated 37-acre community which offers guests outdoor pools with kiddie pool 3 private beaches interactive water fountains a convenient corner store and bay front restaurant/ pool bar to enjoy the amazing sunsets and bay views in Ocean City! It is easy to see why Sunset Island is one of the most sought after and desirable places to be in all of Ocean City. Included in your reservation is 6 facility passes for the Sunset Island facilities. Additional packages can be purchased at $70 each. Children 3 years old and under do not need a pass.

Towel sets include one (1) bath towel, one (1) hand towel and one (1) wash cloth per guest up to the maximum occupancy.

Condo great location

The condo was in a great location. So close to beach pool restaurants and shops. Condo needs lots of updates to include bathroom (mold in showers) and mattress’s. We all slept terrible. Couch seemed newly updated and was very comfortable. We never did figure out the tv. Kitchen well stocked. We probably wouldn’t stay in this condo again just because of the mattress.

Great Unit and Location

We loved our stay in this unit on Sunset Island. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. The tile and laminate flooring throughout made it so easy to keep the floors clean. The view was amazing. Although the garbage disposal was not working when we arrived, it was fixed within 24 hours. We will definitely look to book this unit again.

Great view and location but not much decor

We loved the location of this unit. It had a great view of the fountains and close to the pool. It was not clean but we brought stuff to clean and that’s the first thing we did. The bathroom and comforters really smelled. Once we washed the comforters and rugs and scrubbed the floors the unit was fine. There aren’t a lot of beach decorations, pretty basic. But, the mattresses were ok to sleep and the sofa was comfortable but a little smelly. If they cleaned 10x better it would be a great stay. So, my suggestion is come prepared to clean the floors, comforters, refrigerator, bathrooms and you’re good to go for the week.

Disappointment

This was a girls weekend, we stay in Sunset Island every year. The place we’ve stayed in the past no longer rents, so we picked this condo. We typically make breakfast in and eat other meals out. There was 1 pan, ONE, and this pan was so warped it was a struggle. The kitchen was barley stocked with spatulas, no wine glasses and very little of anything else. The carpet was filthy, like you don’t want to even walk around barefoot, filthy. Sunset Island didn’t disappoint, but this condo will not being seeing us next year.

Great Location, could use some things

We went for a long weekend with friends for the holiday. This Condo was in a great neighborhood and located in the community near the beach on the bay and pool for an easy 2 minute walk! Only thing we thought could be better was the cleanliness and amount of kitchen items for use. The rugs are very stained, stains on the couches, cleaners left sand all over the balcony and dirty dishes in the dishwasher for us to have to do since there were such limited kitchen items. Tried to bake a pizza and there were no oven mitts. Overall great location, but it could use some work.

Place was very clean but could use a redo

It was very clean but needs some updates it had 1 frying pan and the place needs new things needs to be updated. Outside furniture falling apart. When we come back next year we are looking for a nicer condo. We love the area it’s very private and pool was very nice!

Comfortable beachy condo on Sunset Island

This three bedroom condo was cute and comfy enough for our family of six (four teenagers). The spacious layout of the condo was great. My only complaint about the condo was the selection of cooking utensils such as skillets, pans, etc. It was difficult to prepare a meal with the limited and low quality of the utensils provided. Also, as pictured on the map, Sunset Island is on the bay side, and at a wider part of the Island. It is a little bit of a walk to the beach. Not a difficult walk per se, just hard to lug all of our beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, coolers) that distance. That being said, the facilities at Sunset Island are very nice. The drinks/food served at the pool were very tasty and enjoyable. All in all, we had a great time at this Ocean City condo.
