East Beach House 100 yard walk to Blue Shutters Beach, Clean and Open, Sleeps 6

Available weekly Saturday to Saturday.
Convenient house lay-out and near-beach location. There is no AC but guests manage with drawing shades against sun, ceiling and floor fans and opening windows to screens in morning and/or evening cool hours. Raised ranch with upper level containing 2 bedrooms, kitchen, full bath and living room with slider to sunroom. Lower level on one half has recreational room with queen bed, 3/4 bath with washer/dryer, and 2nd TV watching area. Lower level on other half has one car garage perfect for dropping beach gear, bikes or other vacation paraphernalia. Beach chairs and pull-cart provided. Two outdoor showers avoid sand in the house. Driveway accommodates 3-4 cars that never need to be used to drive to the beach, just a 100 yd walk. Blue Shutters beach has life guard area, rest rooms and Dells beverage truck sometimes. You can place beach gear in the morning and go back and forth between house and beach as it suits you, and for morning/evening walks. Beach is white sand with fun surf, or you can walk east 500yds to the state beach and cross inland to the portion of Ninigret pond that never gets over 3ft deep, known as a windsurfer heaven but also great for smaller children who don't like big waves and prefer warmer water (although it has very limited sand/seating area). There is also a lot on the sand road where you can keep kayaks and paddle Ninigret pond.
