CHANTICLEER GARDENS IS A ONE BEDROOM HAMPTONS STYLE COTTAGE AND IS THE SECOND RESIDENCE ON A 5 ACRE ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN.
IT IS SITUATED IN THE NORTH WESTERN SUBURB OF ARCADIA, A 50 MINUTE DRIVE FROM CBD OF SYDNEY.
IT OFFERS ONE QUEEN BEDROOM PLUS LARGE SOFA BED AND CAN SLEEP UP TO 4 PEOPLE. IT HAS A FULL BATHROOM WITH FREESTANDING BATH AND A WALK-IN SHOWER. THE TOILET IS SEPARATE AND SUITABLE FOR WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. TEA, COFFEE, MILK AND SUGAR IS PROVIDED. IT HAS A FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN WITH PLATES, CUTLERY AND COOKING UTENSILS.

THE SWIMMING POOL IS LOCATED APPROX 50 METRES FROM THE COTTAGE NEAR THE MAIN RESIDENCE AND MAY BE SHARED WITH OTHER GUESTS. BBQ FACILITIES ARE SITUATED IN THE CABANA AT THE MAIN RESIDENCE.
THE COTTAGE CAN BE HIRED FOR SHORT TERM RENTALS
THE COTTAGE IS FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED AND HAS A GAS FIREPLACE IN WINTER.
CAFE STYLE WINDOWS AND SLIDING FRENCH DOORS OPEN ONTO AN EXPANSIVE VERANDAH SUITABLE FOR ENTERTAINING.

This property is absolutely stunning. Nestled in a quiet street in beautiful Arcadia, this stay did not disappoint. From the stunning grounds, to gorgeous cottage, everything was perfect. Not to mention Grada and Peter who are absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend this place!

Very lovely and quiet

Absolutely stunning landscaping/outdoor area with just as stunning interior. Peter was very welcoming and showed us around on arrival as there was no guide/guestbook or check in instructions prior to arrival. Our stay was perfect besides my friend waking up through the night due to dust in the guest room and also receiving a “gentle” check out notification by the host arriving and walking into the home to start clean up at 10:55am. Otherwise a beautiful time spent with girlfriends

Peter and I bought Chanticleer Gardens in 2003 when it was a small hobbyist alpaca farm.
We love gardens and immediately set about turning our 5 acre rural property into an award winning English style garden. 20 years later as it reaches maturity is has become a very appealing place to come for a retreat or to host a small event.
7 years ago we decide to turn the last remaining paddocks into the rear courtyard garden and convert the barn into a Hamptoms cottage.
This has created a beautiful space for a weekend getaway.
We converted the Barn into a two bedroom Hamptons style cottage.
We are on the outskirts of Sydney, a 50 minute drive from the CBD and surrounded by other rural properties such as orchards and horse studs.
All events that are hosted on our property are daytime only; 10.30am -6pm and must be arranged through us first.

Why they chose this property

Beautiful English Styled acreage garden, great for photography.
Close to Berowra waters for fishing, kayaking and boating.
Fagan Park for bike riding for the kids or a picnic with friends or just a good walk on the bitumen tracks.
At least 8 great restaurants in the near vicinity.
Horse riding and the Golden Ridge animal farm to visit.

What makes this property unique

The gardens and the settings plus the cottage is beautifully styled. it's very private, completely separated from the main residence. The only thing shared is the pool.
