Welcome to the Sun Lake Resort. We have 4 identical units of 4 bedroom 3 bath 1650 sqft on first floor and 2nd floor. The beautiful condo faces to sun lake and it has a spacious screened patio. It only takes 1 minute walk to a plaza for shopping and restaurants which is very convenient ! More importantly, you are only 2 miles from Disney and the shuttle buses are available for you just at the hotel, no more concerns about getting stuck in traffic---Now that's convenience that can't be beat! (shuttle buses: just cross the street from the sun lake resort).

The screened in porch needs cleaning. It’s needs more towels, wash clothes and hand towels for a 4 bedroom. Some beds could use new mattresses. Spacious rooms, great pool, great location. Hot tub jets would not turn on at pool. I would stay there again as long as price is right

Close to Disney

Very reasonably priced property close to Disney. There are a lot of restaurants and stores close to this property. No grocery stores within walking distance tho. We really liked Sickies garage and Rock and Brews. The heated pool at the club house was very nice. Plenty of space for all 5 of us. Check in and out was a breeze.

Pros: Very close to Disneyworld, Target & Walmart, and tons of restaurants. Air Conditioning worked great. Had full kitchen and washer/dryer and all appliances functioned well. Property management was quick to respond to issues. Was pet friendly and our dog was able to go on the grass - but watch out for snakes and alligators! Apparently there are 4 large alligators living in the swamp behind the condo as a homeowner of 26 years told us about. In a gated community. The price was good and we were there for a full month.Cons: Picture of kids room didn't match real room. The picture must have been taken from another property. The place needs some updating - it felt outdated and dirty in parts of the condo. A piece of trim in the master bedroom to BR was loose and even poking up. We trained ourselves to stepping around it. We also had to cancel a day at Epcot so that the management company could access the AC in our condo to fix the AC in the condo above us. The kitchen was not equipped with hot pads or kitchen towels or rags, and the strainer was old and stinky. There was also no rug on the premises. However, we contacted property management and they provided us with some of these items. Fan in one of the bathrooms didn't work. One of the toilets also didn't flush very well.Overall: a good place to stay and very convenient location- just understand that it's a bit outdated and doesn't seem to be as well maintained as other places we've stayed at.
