Enjoy spectacular sea views from the spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining rooms, and enormous entertaining deck with BBQ, dining table and daybed.
The streamlined contemporary kitchen offers stone bench tops and well-equipped butler`s pantry and a range of cooking appliances.

The fully-fenced, good-sized secure yard backs onto the park and sporting reserve, perfect for kite-flying or backyard cricket. The reserve hosts the famous annual Kombi Festival each October long weekend and Music Festival every March.

Furnished for coastal style and comfort, Ruby`s has everything you`ll need for a great getaway: beach toys, outdoor games, board games and even a ping-pong table for table tennis tournaments.

This magnificent home is in a very highly sought location and well worth a visit. You only live once, so why not enjoy the coastal charm of Old Bar and its surrounds, perfect for swimming, surfing, boating, 4WD, trail bikes, fishing or birdwatching, or just kicking back in that beachside lifestyle, approximately 3.5 hours drive from Sydney CBD, 3 hours from Northern Sydney and 1.5 hours from Newcastle.

We have just had a lovely few days in Ruby’s at the Beach. Perfect location, walking distance to everything such as the beach, coffee shops and town. We had a few family groups and the space in the house worked really well. It was great having a table tennis table and movie room without impacting the main living space. The house felt newly renovated with stylish bathrooms, large kitchen (incl butlers pantry) and comfortable living space with a fabulous deck and view.We loved our stay and will be back!

To keep it short.Everything you'll need is supplied or a shop for it is a five minutes walk away.Massive space as is the outside area.Its also very quiet at night which is a great bonus.

Great location

We love Old Bar as it still has that small beach town feel, but with enough amenities to make it a great holiday place. Ruby's was very spacious and beautifully appointed. The kitchen had every you'd need - down to a slow cooker and rice cooker. We easily fitted 5 adults and a teenager in. The balcony is beautiful and a great place to hang out. It's an easy walk to the nearest beach and we enjoyed getting coffees from The Blowfish Cafe on the way. Only downside was the lack of the PS 3 mentioned,which was disappointing for the teenage son and the lack of dryer (but if you came on a non rainy week it would be fine). Owners have kindly supplied games and jigsaws and a table tennis table, which filled in a few wet afternoons. All in all, we had a great time.

Good but not fantastic

Overall enjoyed our stay. Spacious house, comfortable beds and good location. Showers need a good scrub, kitchen needs more glasses/plastic cups a new fry pan and a new BBQ. Also no blinds in living room upstairs. Terrible bug problem so make sure you keep the windows and doors shut at night. No air con or wi-fi

Great place, perfect for a family or group of friends. Right across from the beach, clean, tidy with everything you could need. Lack of wifi was the only negative but everything else was great.

Great for a getaway

We stayed for 2 nights for a family getaway, perfect location for quick access to the beach. House was new and modern with great views of the beach from the balcony upstairs. Very light and airy. Would definitely go back and stay again.
