Beautiful view

We really enjoyed our stay! We spent a lot of time on the back patio. The kids enjoyed jumping off the top of the deck. Was a very peaceful and quiet area on Lake Martin.

Great location

Nice place a little more worn then what is shown on website. Great location on the lake! We had a great time. Didn’t use the upper deck over the water because it had a lot of cobwebs and needed cleaning. I was on vacation and not wanting to clean so we used the main deck off the house. All on all it was very enjoyable!

Hi Leslie, we’re so glad you enjoyed the location, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, they’d like to share the following: - The furniture in the house is brand new, purchased less than 8 months ago. As it's an A-frame cabin, it's designed to have a rustic charm. We're considering updating our listing to better reflect this unique and cozy character. - We have a team that regularly sweeps and clears the porches, as well as addresses cobwebs. However, due to our proximity to the water, these may reappear relatively quickly. We've explored solutions, but it's a challenge. We're also planning to repaint the exterior, even though it was done less than two years ago. This is mainly to address the impact of weather conditions on the paintwork. We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and help this homeowner provide guests with the 5-star service they are known for. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Cabin lake experience

If you’re looking for a true cabin lake experience, this is the house for you. Large open kitchen and den help for larger families. We only had one issue with the air conditioner but contacted our host who immediately responded and said they would have someone out to fix the problem first thing the next morning. The beds are extremely comfortable which was a plus for our family. Overall we had a great trip.

So nice!

Awesome rental with an amazing outdoor space. My little ones could watch cartoons on the dock while they took a break from swimming and I could lay out. My husband caught 10 fish from the property and I caught my 1st bass. Luxury, relaxing, comfortable, and clean (in a few words). Lots of restaurants on the water if you have a boat, but they were only open Thursday-Saturday in May.

Awesome lake cabin for family

We had a fantastic weekend at Lake Martin in this charming A-frame cabin. The kitchen was very well equipped. The inside was extremely clean. The outside needed a good blow/ spray off due to pollen season, but we made it work! The kids used the kayaks and jumped off the top dock. We all fished with live minnows and caught several bass, bream, crappie, and catfish. We enjoyed the outdoor TVs while grilling and watching March Madness. The views are spectacular and the beds slept great. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

How soon can I go back?

My siblings and I went for a special weekend. This property was wonderful! The multiple decks were spectacular! The location was great, the house was adorable, the water was perfection, views were stunning, amenities were terrific...I could go on and on. Seriously loved it! Thanks so much!

Cabin was very clean. We arrived a bit early and had no issues with getting right in. The area was quiet and close to marinas, restaurants, and not too far from chimney rock (by water). I was disappointed that we couldn't keep the boat under the dock out of the sun. There was nothing in the description stating we couldn't and the contact knew we were bringing our boat. The poles to park on the flat dock were broken too. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you need (dishes/utensils/pots and pans)We cooked/grilled every night. The ice machine never worked. There are plenty of towels/washcloths/blankets/etc. The interior of the cabin was very comfortable and inviting. The upper dock at the shore hadn't been cleaned in some time, but we did spend a lot of time there because it's covered and nice to watch boaters and ducks at the end of the day :) I would highly recommend taking bottled water to drink! Overall we highly enjoyed our week at this cabin and had a wonderful vacation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a blast fishing on the lake and off the dock. And relaxing on the deck. All the outdoor areas are great however, the outdoor kitchen area could use some TLC. Would definitely stay again.

Great Lakefront space!

Make sure you bring your own hand soap (there is none), toilet paper and paper towels ran out quickly (probably left there from last renters so bring that with you? I know the outside is just that, outside, but nothing outside appeared to have been wiped down for quite some time. Lastly, the door to the fridge doesn't close properly so if you dont learn the trick to closing it which was apparently an ongoing problem it has a hard time cooling. Those things aside, the views and decks are amaaaaazing, the kids literally played for days fishing and jumping off the dock, and the lake is absolutely incredible.

Beautiful outdoor amenities!!

We loved the outside it had everything you could want and more. The inside was fine a couple things we weren’t thrilled about…. The outdoor garbage can was full the day we got there so we had to take all our garbage home luckily we drove trucks. And I realize we are supposed to bring our own toiletries but there wasn’t even soap provided at the sinks. We just weren’t prepared for that since that was a first for us. Overall the place is great!
