Wonderful white lodge

The location is lovely with the giant Mountain ash trees. Very well appointed, clean, and the heating was amazing. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend

Perfect family stay at mountain retreat

Thank you Robynne and Nic for hosting us! We loved the place and felt so spoilt by the beautiful surroundings, and the warm and inviting home. The fireplace was perfect for a rainy day and the rooms were well appointed which met our needs.

Great stay

This house feels modern and well designed, but also like a well-loved family home; the living areas feel both spacious and cozy. We liked it very much. Great location looking out over temperate rainforest, feels very private and peaceful. You can walk into sassafras along the road and then up a trail along the creek, about 1km. Great communication with owner, all the amenities you need.

We had the most beautiful weekend. Beds and linen luxurious and so comfortable. Open fires red wine walks in the forest and visits to Kallista Olinda and Olinda falls. No wonder this home won the house of the year award! We had a lovely visit from parrots and cockatoos. Everything we needed was here. Thanks so much. We can’t wait to visit again !!!

Beautiful setting for our wedding preparations

We stayed here with our bridal party to get ready for our wedding. The kitchen is so well equipped to host and prepare dinner. The BBQ is great and there are indoor and outdoor settings for the whole group to sit. Comfy beds, spacious lounge rooms and bathrooms. A great house to host a larger group. The garden is lovely and the surrounds so peaceful. The whole property allowed us to get so many amazing photos before leaving for the wedding. Robynne and Nic were easy to communicate with and very helpful. Would love to stay again.

Fairies at the top of the garden

A magical place in every respect. Attention to detail and comfort in abundance. Small children wandered the enchanting garden looking for a glimpse of faeries in the tree ferns. Beautiful birds in their natural surroundings. Warmth permeated the whole house. Chef Mark produced a magnificent meal with impeccable service. Restoration for body and mind in a wonderful house situated in a superb forest

Fantastic propert in Sassafras

The house was fantastic and very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Beds very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped for our chef’s dinner. Great house for a few couples as it has 3 bathrooms. The garden is beautiful and we spent the bulk of the night near the fire place. The only bad thing was that we had to leave.

A homely retreat you must experience....💜

The property was beautiful, clean and homely. We were provided with ample information instructing us how to use all amenities within the home (heating! So important!), in addition to places that may be of interest for us to visit. We were pleasantly surprised by just how well stocked the property was, every comfort or need we possibly wanted from home could be found and available for use. Such a beautiful home with much character to offer. From listening to the birds first thing in the morning, to appreciating the lush green surrounding rain forest, it was exactly what were were looking for. The hiking tracks suggested in the info pack were quite an amusing experience, imagine survivor, I've never seen so much mud to slip and slide on!!! It was so much fun and so beautiful. 😅 We also had two nights meals cooked by Chef suggested by the owers, his name is Mark. What an experience, Mark came in both nights, prepared, cooked and served everything. Even better, he cleaned up! We found Mark to be a very friendly man to have in the home, surrounded by our family at the end of the day. A great chef, he took so much pride in the meals he served, being sure to make sure everything was what we wanted and up to standard (which is was and way above). I'd definitely recommend you have a meal or two cooked by Mark, we certainly will when we return. To sum up, home amazing, owners helpful and Marks food to die for. GREAT HOUSE

Our group of 8 girlfriends enjoyed a great stay at Robynne & Nic's house. They were accommodating with check in and available for any inquiries. The house is private, tastefully decorated and functional. Would recommend this house for your family or group. Although the village is a short drive we stayed most of the time enjoying the laid back atmosphere in the house but there a cafes, nice restaurants and shops within a 10 minute drive. A short drive from the suburbs meant that we were enjoying our getaway within 40-50 minutes.
