Xmas 2024

Stayed at the place for a week, not a better location in town. The place has it all, nice high vaulted ceilings, great fireplace and very private considering you are downtown. The management was on the spot and the underground parking was also a huge plus. You can’t go wrong with staying here! Would love to return.

Great place to stay if you want to be able to walk 5-7 minutes to all restaurants, shops, and Breck station (to ski resort)! We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi, gas fireplace that put off a lot of heat, and in-floor heating in the bathroom was a nice touch!

One of our favorite vacation rentals!

We loved our time at Ridge Street Cottage and just wish we could have stayed longer! Excellent location to walk to everything in downtown Breck. Very accurate description and a great layout that was perfect for the 2 of us plus our pup. We look forward to returning!

Wonderful Summer in the Mountains

We stayed for 6 weeks during the summer. This cottage was ideally located, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and grocery stores. The cottage was spacious with plenty of storage space. The kitchen was very well equipped. We prepared breakfast and lunch almost daily. We even prepared dinner 2 to 3 times a week during our stay. Garage parking was a plus. The management company was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This was one of the better VRBO rentals that we’ve stayed in.

Another Month Long Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: River Street Cottage served as a very convenient dog friendly location for our ski trip. The location was hard to beat and the rental featured a large living area and back deck with views of the mountain that we really enjoyed. Cons are extremely tight parking for a large SUV in the units shared garage and a shower head that lacked water pressure.

Quick and easy access to Main Street

The home was very clean and well-supplied. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Less than a block to Main Street, which was nice, but did also result in a little noise at off-hours. Our party was two adults and two kids (11 yo and 8 yo). It was nice having underground parking and the instructions were spot-on, but the parking was pretty tight. You need a 4WD (because it’s the Rockies)…but a Tahoe or Suburban would struggle to fit in. All in all, we definitely recommend this location.

Will Go Again

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The location was perfect. The bed was comfortable. I think the carpet should be shampooed. It was a pet friendly cottege, but my dogs kept smelling previous " guests". The gas fireplace needed a service call as it would not ignite which seemed like the only heat available. There was coffee, tea, honey, and creamer but no sugar. A few little issues, but overall very nice.

Fantastic location / maintenance issues

Nice place in a great location. One block from Main Street and only steps from great restaurants. Pet friendly and very easy check-in and good parking availability. 3 of the 4 windows in the living room do not work and most of the window shades are damaged and screens are missing. Relatively clean but ledges on top of fireplace and in kitchen are covered in dust. These are maintenances issues that differently do not appear to be new.

March 2023 Winter Fun!

We absolutely adore this cottage. It has a perfect location to the downtown shops and restaurants that Breckenridge has to offer. The management company was very responsive throughout the entire rental experience. The decorations and layout are exactly as they appear, very well maintained! The bed was super comfy also! We only had one issue and that was dealt with quickly and swiftly. The management company kept us updated with status all day while we got on with our day of fun. The parking was a little tight, but we had a Jeep Wrangler 4x4, so it fit perfectly once you got the hang of it. We will definitely be back! Love this little cottage like it’s our home away from home!

The location was fantastic for walkability to anything in the town of Breckenridge, really in the heart of it all. We found the kitchen had the basics we needed for a short 4 night stay, we didn't cook much, only breakfast. The coffee provided was a nice touch and we used the brewer in the unit every day of our stay. Furnishings are okay, I wouldn't give them the highest rating in the comfort department but we'd stay here again anyway because it was everything we needed, especially dog friendly, cozy, prime location, secure parking included, and the price was right. Large open layout and the private hot tub was the best amenity. Only real complaint was having old trash left out in front of the unit, it seems like trash wasn't getting picked up just stacking up before and during our time there. Although it was July, we were comfortable and didn't have issues with the temps without central AC. Can't wait to rent this unit again.

But, when you want to get away from the action, the cottage is nestled on a quiet alley street where you can have some peace and quiet if that's what you desire.The hot tub is the centerpiece. It is large, clean and well maintained. The temp was always 104 or 105, no worries there. There is a walkway nearby and some businesses, but foot traffic is minimal and you should have all the privacy you need.The kitchen is well stocked with a convection oven, blender, all the flatware and drinkware you will need. The fridge is large, clean and works great. Plenty of paper items are provided.Windows are all over the walls so you can get a lot of natural light as the sun moves across the sky behind the TV-side (south wall). Our Chihuahua likes to track the sunbeams as they move across the floor. And you can draw shades at night for privacy.There is radiant floor heat that works very well. And the fireplace is a nice supplemental heating source. Can't wait to return to Ridge Street Cottage!

Plenty of room for us to lounge about when needed and cook a few meals. The physical location of the cottage is amazing. Genuinely perfect. We had to turn on our car on twice over the week and that was to drive to a hike. Everything else, literally everything, is a quick walk away. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Family trip to Breckenridge

Our family of four had an amazing stay. The cute little cottage was clean, comfortable, cozy, and warm. It was stocked well with anything you could possibly need. The washer/dryer and hot tub were added bonuses. The location was truly exceptional. It was within walking distance to a grocery store, restaurants, shops, literally everything. I couldn’t imagine a better location. We look forward to coming back!
