Everything was perfect, very nice location in beautiful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Christopher was very kind and accommodating throughout my stay, and was very helpful with any requests or questions as well, thank you so much! This place has everything you will need for a long stay, I had a wonderful experience!
My husband drove us from San Diego to be in SF when my daughter was expecting her first baby. I was asked to be nearby (1 walkable mile!), and she found this vrbo. The host was helpful with restaurant suggestions and got a parking pass for us,(beware the changing street sweepers). He also was quick to give more towels, TP and cleaning supplies. It was nice to be in a safe neighborhood in a city that I didn't know much about a month ago.
Beautiful neighborhood!! Convenient for both transportation and going places by foot. (Presidio Library is also right around the corner.) The room is an amazing price for this part of town!I really appreciated that the room was nicely decorated, with a color scheme and pretty curtains, as well as roses growing outside. You hardly ever find that in rentals.Kitchenette set-up is a little bit crowded, and you have to wash your dishes in the bathroom sink. I would suggest replacing one of the side tables with a small table that the guest can use for both computer and eating, since there's nothing sitting height.
I came to the City for several weeks to walk hills, climb stairs, and hike nearby (rehabbing injuries before walking the Camino in October.) This is a clean, safe, fun neighborhood. Close to lovely walks in the Presidio and along the water. Lots of good restaurants and nice shops nearby. Easy to catch busses if that’s preferred. The room is bright and comfortable and the streets quiet. The microwave, mini-fridge, and water heater were all we needed to make coffee, reheat restaurant leftovers, and keep fresh fruit and snacks from nearby Trader Joe’s. Christopher was quick to reply when I had questions.
Everything was perfect!...room, location, host, safe neighborhood, public transportation, nearby excellent restaurants, pastry shop and markets!! I give it a 10 star recommendation!
I knew this was going to be a perfect fit when I was met by a beautiful rose garden and a welcoming host. Christopher could not have done more to make my stay enjoyable. He is also a valuable resource for visitors unfamiliar with San Francisco. The sunroom is charming; full of light yet cozy and private. A lot of attention to detail more than meets the needs of its guests. It has a comfortable bed and well appointed furniture. The location is perfect. The neighborhood is safe and full of opportunities to enjoy the best that San Francisco has to offer. I will definitely be back. Thank you Christopher!
Christopher was very responsive for every request I had. The area is very nice to walk around in, with a gorgeous view just a few minutes away and a ~10 min walk from Fillmore street which has nice shops.
Could maybe have used a desk since I was wfh but Christopher provided me with a table and chair as soon as I asked.
Overall highly recommend for affordable stay for one person
This Private Room is superb in so many ways: in a prestigious family neighborhood, very convenient to get to different places, airy, windows on three sides, bright, sun lights (so good for my SAD lol), high ceiling, decorative fireplace, spacious, comfy bed, beautiful furniture and décor with a modern touch. Most surprising to find is a full-featured, leather massage chair. You can watch TV while doing a soothing massage, how lovely! Since it is an older architecture so it came with distinguished period details. The owner is kind, responsive, helpful and accommodating. A gem and a rare find. Highly recommend. Thank you, Dr Freye
Bright and cozy room with all you need & great host
This bright and cozy second story room was pretty much perfect for our extended stay. Super comfy bed, lots of sunlight from several windows, mini balcony, kitchenette, and even a massage chair! The host was friendly and responsive. Fantastic neighborhood - safe and quiet and near parks. I didn't see any other listing of this quality in my search at the time. I would highly recommend to all travelers!
Beautiful room in a great neighborhood! The room is literally surrounded by windows and has a quaint balcony...which makes the room bright and enjoyable. It has its own private entry and bathroom which is fantastic. The owner is super nice and very responsive. I highly recommend this place. You'll love it. Its location also makes it easy to walk to restaurants, the market and catch the bus. We also had no problems finding street parking within a block radius. Check this place out...you will not be disappointed.
