Escape to this cozy cabin in the woods!

Look no further for a weekend private escape! This 3 bedroom 1.5 bath rustic cabin will blow you away! Situated on 2 acres, this is the perfect place for a nice, private getaway. Conveniently located to nearby Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. Recently renovated in 2018, you can expect brand new stainless steel appliances, new furniture and new flatscreen TVs in each room. Enjoy the view off the front or back porch while listening to the natural stream flow through the property. Bring your rod and reel if you’d like and enjoy the stream that’s stocked with trout! If you like roasting marshmallows or just sitting by the fire you’ll love the huge fire pit! Huge maintained yard with lots of room for games and activities and kids to run around! Bring your bikes or hiking boots and enjoy the nearby Indian Creek Valley Hike-Bike Trail only 1/2 a mile away!

We just put in a brand new road to the property so it’s only showing up on certain maps like google maps. You will need to use the address 649 Mill Run Road, Mill Run, PA 15464 to reach the correct destination. The cabin is at the end of the gravel road from the entrance.

There will be a key pad on the front door, I’ll message you with the code to get in two days prior to arrival.

Our cabin has 1 king sized bed and 2 queen sized beds and a provided queen sized air mattress for sleeping arrangements. The air mattress will be in the red room closet, along with the ironing board and iron. The air mattress can be set up in the living room after moving the coffee table or it can be set up in the downstairs bedroom.

Our cabin is at the end of a well maintained gravel road down a slight hill but it’s accessible with low clearance vehicles. Guests need to maintain a slow speed on road and respect the other residents.

Firewood is available on property but we kindly ask for a tip. You can also purchase at any nearby stores.

We’re providing some yard games such as cornhole and ladder ball! Please enjoy but they stay with the house! Don’t ruin the fun for future guests!

Cell phone service is very limited, so come prepared. There is whole home WiFi though and the cell service seems to work great with it.

We only offer pets with my approval for a $100.00 pet fee and there are very strict rules. NO PUPPIES. Must be house trained. MUST FOLLOW HOUSE RULES FOR NO PETS ON ANY BEDDING OR ANY OUTDOOR OR INDOOR FURNITURE, failing to follow these rules will result in being asked to leave without a refund. Someone abused our rules before so we’re very strict now.

Our cabin will require a 4WD vehicle to reach in the winter months

Late check out without consulting with me will result in a $50.00 per 1/2 hour additional charge. Firewood is available on the property for a fee.

We loved our stay. The house is very well Outfitted and makes both a great “retreat” and launching off point for sites in the area like the Frank Lloyd Wright houses. We were 3 women on a “girls” weekend but would also accommodate 3 couples.

Paradise in PA mountains

Our overall experience was fantastic. The cabin was clean, modern, and setup perfectly. Just bring your clothes, swim suit, a good book, and enjoy a very peaceful stay. Lovely Cabin by the Stream

This home is charming. It’s so soothing to listen to the stream in the morning with a cup of coffee on the porch or in the evening by the fire. The kitchen has absolutely everything you could need during your stay. The beds are comfy and the bathroom is like being at a spa. If you want peace and quiet, this is a great place to stay.

This was the cleanest, most well appointed VRBO we have ever stayed in. Located far from the road in a wooded nook with a large spacious yard edged by a creek. My family had a great time & my border collies slept all the way home after non-stop running and playing in the creek...which is a minor miracle.

Great time!

Everything was perfect! The house and property were amazing! The huge yard and lovely little stream were so fun! The fire pit was great. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. The beds were comfy and we all slept well! We had a great time biking, hiking, fishing and whitewater rafting in Ohiopyle which was only about 10 min away. We will definitely be back!

Peaceful retreat

Whispering Pines is the perfect getaway. Great location for enjoying the area's sites, only a few minutes from Fallingwater and Ohiopyle, but if you just want to relax and unwind the 2 porches, with the sound of the stream running past the house is a great way to spend an afternoon. The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped with state of the art appliances and whatever you might need. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend!

Top Notch Accommodations!

We traveled up for a week of skiing and could not have been happier with the house. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The cleanliness and extra touches were exceptional. Fantastic family vacation

Amazing attention to detail, everything you could possible need and more. Beautifully decorated and very, very clean. Comfort of beds 5 stars. Lovely Porches and a trout stream right next to the cabin. Close to Ligoner for shopping or exploring the historic fort, Idlewild amusement park for old fashioned family fun, Ohio Pile just a short drive away for outdoor adventure. Great for our family of 4! Able to fish in the stream on the property. Kids loved running around in the huge yard and catching lightning bugs, playing soccer and bird watching. The back porch is so relaxing- we loved sitting in the swing reading a book. We will come back again!

Serene and peaceful break from daily life

Amazing!! This three bedroom had the most comfortable mattresses, the kitchen was fully stocked with an adorable coffee bar and any appliance you would ever need and the lot where the cabin was situated was beautiful. The stream running next to the house and the climbable tree dappled hill on the other side afforded a sense of being in your own private, peaceful world. I highly recommend staying here! The owners were great to work with and very responsive. And it was an easy drive to the ski resorts nearby.
