Over all had a great stay at this property. It was clean and had all the necessary supplies. Hot tub was clean and easy to use and beds had nice linens on them.
We had an amazing stay at the Blackberry Bunk house! Me and my girlfriends with their kids/grandkids were looking for a cabin in the mountains with a hot tub for after we took the kids to play in the snow, and this cabin more than fit the bill.
The hot tub, massage chair and remote controlled gas fireplace were wonderfully relaxing. The kids loved the loft and with a fenced yard with a closeable gate we felt comforted that they were safe playing outside. They had fun roasting marshmallows and making smores at the large fire pit in the spacious front yard, conveniently flanked by 2 picnic tables.
What the kitchen lacked in counterspace it made up for with amenities like a gas stove with a built in griddle, complimentary coffee and pancake/waffle mix, and being fully stocked with all modern appliances and plentiful dishes/utensils for cooking and serving.
Last but certainly not least, the host David was great! He was very caring, making sure we knew how to work the gas fireplace so we'd all be warm enough (although there's also a space heater in the bedroom downstairs and a baseboard in the front end of the loft, so very cozy). And when one of my girlfriends locked her keys in the car with it running while defrosting the windshield he not only allowed us to stay a little later while we waited for the lockout service, he also made sure she had gas to get home.
I would move in here if I could lol but 10/10 the whole group would love to stay at Blackberry Bunk House again.
I came in late the first night and had a very easy access to the house. Place was very clean and up to date. There were places close to eat, and the park entrance was only about 6 miles away. Very pleased with my stay. The owner was on top of any questions I had before and after I got there.
Loved our time spent at this house. It was perfect for what we needed. Spent two days there to see Mt. Rainier and do some local hiking. House is in a very friendly neighborhood and a close drive to the park. Hot tub was great after a long day. We would absolutely stay there again!
Perfect location to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Loft was a little hard to get in and out of for our 4.5 year old, so he ended up sleeping on the couch (super comfy by the way!). Laundry on-site, coin operated - wish we would have known in advance and had cash on hand. Host was great and got back to us quick with any answers we needed. A great visit. We would definitely stay again!
We booked for just a night away and were very pleased except when we went to make coffee. The pot hadn’t been cleaned and there was mold floating in it.
Great location about 1.3 miles East of Ashford. From Highway it is right, left, right. Our GPS got a little confused. Hot tub was not sparkling clean and bed was a little low for this old guy but we very much enjoyed our stay. The garden was very nice and we were thrilled to find coffee and some food in the cupboard and fridge. Will stay there again.
