Two bedroom cottage has a queen bed in each bedroom and a futon sleeper in the living room. Tastefully furnished in lodge log decor with a free standing gas fireplace stove in the living room. Full bathroom with shower only. Through the wall air conditioning, cable TV, and wifi for your comfort and relaxation. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided. The full size kitchen comes with a stove/range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. It is equipped for basic cooking and eating. Outside on the patio is a gas grill, picnic table, and patio chairs for your evening bar-b-q. The cottages set in a park like setting with mature trees, and lots of lush lawn. Just a short walk to the paved bike path or to the lake for some recreation.

Located by beautiful Canyon Lake in Rapid City just thirty minutes from Mt Rushmore. Easy access to all Black Hills area attractions. Most attractions including Mt Rushmore are 30 minutes or less.

Bring your bikes, walking shoes, or roller blades and enjoy the great paved bike trail that goes for miles along Rapid Creek. Trout fishing in both the Creek and the lake. Paddle boats are available for rent to mingle with the ducks and geese on the lake. Playgrounds for the kids and best of all, mosquitoes are not a problem. Bike rentals to enjoy the miles of paved bike paths around the lake and along the creek.

Very clean, cute cabin on the west side of Rapid City. Great location-quick drive to surrounding tourist attractions. Nice playground if you are traveling with kids. Check in at the campground office was quick and easy, staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend.

Loved the location of this property. Close to Rapid City but on the edge of town near a lake and creek. Felt very safe and lots of places to walk, run and bike. Also, a good central location for all the places we wanted to visit. The ice cream truck in the parking lot each night was a plus too. Will definitely stay here again.

The property is so well maintained and the staff are exceptional. We didn't get the cabin we had selected, but they went out of their way to get us a comparable cabin. It is such a peaceful and quiet little world.

Beautiful location...great, clean living space, quiet, and had everything we needed. Parking was great, the manager was kind when we checked in, wifi worked wonderfully, and it felt nice and secluded from the busyness of the city. We brought our bikes with us and took advantage of the bike trails around the area/lake. We loved the little Scoopy Cow ice cream trailer nearby (amazing ice cream). It made a great home base to adventure around to see Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Deadwood, Spearfish, etc. We were also able to rent a paddleboat to go out onto the lake. Great place to walk in the mornings and evenings, and plenty of living space for the times we were at the cabin (mostly to sleep). Thanks for a great stay!

We have owned and operated Lake Park Campground and Cottages since 1991.
Since we have lived on the property for the last 28 years, we can say that it is the ideal location to experience the wide variety that the Black Hills area has to offer. All the conveniences of the City with a country feel. Plenty of other units if you are traveling with friends.
