Incredible attention to detail and unsurpassed hospitality
This home was fabulous! The property is 500 years old and updated, as much as possible to be modern without destroying the ancient spirit. We have stayed at many VRBO's and have had great hosts. This couple, Tina and Frenki, were absolutely the most hospitable hosts we have ever encountered. They went out of their way to take us to find things we wanted and responded quickly to all of our requests. If you want to experience old school Croatia, this is the home in which to do so.
Property was as stated and the property managers were both extremely helpful. Stay was perfect.

About the host
Hosted by Tina
I grew up in Split, Croatia and moved to Kaštel Lukšić two years ago with my familly. I am a visual artist and curator and my husband is an actor so we share the same passion - art. We like to go to the theater, galleries and concerts and we mainly enjoy spending time outside with our son. We fell in love with the stone house Kala and decided to share its (hi)story.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the story of the house and how it was carefully renovated for 12 years. Previous owners tried to keep everything authentic from conservating smoke on the stone walls, keeping the original wood and stone and enhancing the house with modern amenities.
What makes this property unique
Original details from the past, 16th century old house, peace and calm neighbourhood, clean sea
