These cottages are not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for your boat trailer, public ramp just around the corner. We have 2 cottages on this property. This is unit #1. This cottage does not have an ocean view but is on the open water. Just a few steps you can walk out and lounge by the ocean.

You're in the tropics... listen to the waves, rest, relax or fish, kayak and snorkel, if you wish to lose a few pounds. One bedroom cottage with direct ocean access. Sunrise view, ocean breezes. Little Torch stay

Basic place to crash after fishing all day. It was April, not too warm and the AC in the big bedroom was just fair. Wouldn’t want to be in there over the summer. Again, basic accommodations, a little pricey for what you get, but was satisfactory, just not when it’s hot.

Great find!

Pleasant cottage in the keys. Everything was clean, centrally located in the islands a d a stones throw from looe key dive center. Easy check in with a small kitchen. Would definitely recommend!

Great and price

The cottage is rustic. The amenities are sparse but doable. There was a dead roach in the bathroom and the floor under the garbage was filhty. There is 1 space heater but no extra blanketdblanketsblankets.

Nice Florida Keys cottage

Cottage was just as described. Comfortable and clean. Right in the middle of the lower half of the Keys, with Key West 30 miles south and Marathon Key 30 miles north, easy access to everything.

Stay in Little Torch Key

Very laid-back and comfortable house with excellent kitchen. Very quiet at night except for the sea breeze. Adjacent to Big Pine Key and Bahia Honda, and a half-hour from Key West. Really felt we were away from the bustle of the busier areas. Highly recommended!

great location! really enjoyed the grassy big yard plus the little beach. snorkeled right there!

inside nicely decorated & comfortable. outside needs some attention- rotten wood left there on the property plus 2 broken wood hammock stands but we made our way around and had a blast. love the location! beautiful back yard goes right to the ocean! Just up the street is Tiki's- fun place- good food too!

Great Little Cottage

Our third time staying at this cottage, and we’re always so pleased with the combination of the feel of old school Florida and the fact that it’s such a great value. A/c works great, king-size bed is pretty comfortable and enough kitchen supplies to cook a meal. Also a brand new grill where you can barbecue while looking at the water. If you don’t feel like cooking, Kiki’s Sandbar is a great bar/restaurant within walking distance. Great alternative to paying $600/night in Key West! A+++

Pretty nice

The modest outward appearance hides the charming interior…warm and comfey with just a few negatives…first, from the outside, the collection of garbage find is unattractive and the first thing you see…inside was clean and warm looking but cold temperature…I guess you don’t need heat down here, but it is cold this week and we were trying to find heating controls: there us none…only upon packing up did we find a small space heater in a closet. One more thing: please find some privacy curtains for the bathroom windows..

It was very quiet and we was left to ourselves which is what we wanted. The bed wad very broke down in need of replacement, so we struggled to sleep. Housekeeping needs improvement. But it was cheap. You get what you pay for. Property owner was very nice and quick to respond, but we wouldn't stay again.

I wasn’t expecting anything fancy here, but it was worse than I would have thought. When we got here it was stifling hot inside. We were able to adjust one of the a/c units, but were unable to adjust the other (in the bedroom). I messaged the host around 7pm to ask what we could do to cool it down and she responded asking where we were staying (which I thought she would have known, since that information was two texts up in the messages). I responded with the address around 7:45pm. She responded the next morning telling me how to adjust the a/c in the bedroom, which helped, but it would have been nice to know before we purchased a box fan to help cool us down while we slept. The sun room doesn’t have a/c and the knobs were removed from the windows so we couldn’t open them to get a cross breeze. The bathroom is where the worst of the issues are. The walls are bowing and cracking from apparent water damage and it looks like there’s mold. Also, the windows in the shower and toilet room are uncovered. The toilet isn’t a big deal, as it’s lower, but the neighbors and anyone walking by could see me from the chest up while I showered. It looked like at some point someone stapled a towel over the window, which had been taken down. I used a closet hanger to hang a towel over the window. Also, if you are bringing a dog be careful with what they find. My dog found a ketchup packet and bottle cap under the bed. Also a baby gecko and some bugs, but that’s to be expected in Florida.

So Disappointed

the place was a total wreck outside. I am embarrassed to show the pics of the place. They were "renovating" but nothing told us to expect that. The inside was ok, but in a state of moderate disrepair. Plan on bringing everything you may need, only the bare minimum there not even coffee filters. No extras like board games or cards for when it is raining. The mattress was sagging in the middle and we woke up with sore backs. The host said she had a new mattress and had planned on changing it out, which she supposedly did saying we had a "new mattress" when we were out on the water the second day. Turns out it was not a new mattress but fixed the box spring and covered the old mattress so we wouldn't know? It was little better and since we were only there a couple days we put up with it but we won't do that again. If you can, spend the extra money, there has to be nicer places. We didn't expect the Ritz but wow!

Cozy little cottage that is perfect for a couple on vacation. Plenty of parking for our truck and small boat. Sunrise views and morning walks is how we started our day. Would recommended and reserve again for future stays in the Florida Keys.

Cute secluded beach cottage

We had a great time! The cottage is definitely a no thrills option but worked great for a weekend getaway in the keys. The area is about a 40-45 min drive from Key West but there are plenty of great restaurants, boat & jet ski rentals and things to do around the area.

My personal home is on the open water on Little Torch, this location is a straight shot to Looe Key Reef, for some of the best snorkeling, diving and fishing. And if you're just out for a boat ride and a relaxing day with friend, you are close to Marvin Key and the Content Keys.
