You will not find a better place to stay in Frankfort! The place was beautiful - rooms were spacious and gorgeously decorated, the view was impressive, and we were very close to the distilleries. Our hosts were the best! Mark gave us great recommendations that made our first trip so much more enjoyable - from how to make the most of touring the bourbon trail to places to dine, it was a true VIP experience.

We loved our stay at Top of the Rock. The location was perfect. About 10 minutes from Buffalo Trace and about 20 minutes to the other distilleries we chose to visit near Frankfort. We arrived with a Tesla at about 10% battery charge. TotR has a NEMA 14-50 and they provide the charging cable (though I brought my mobile charger). Charged at 40A and got about 30 mi/hour. Topped up by later that day. The house is great. Three nice bedrooms very well appointed. From the pictures we couldn't tell that the two bathrooms are in the hall/kitchen and don't connect to the bedrooms (just be aware). The kitchen has a Keurig and they provided some pods but it didn't have a regular coffee maker or a dishwasher. No problems though.We had too much bourbon and fun so not enough time to try the hot tub but it looked big and comfortable. Will do that on the next visit.House was super quiet. Although it's on the lower level of this home, it had a separate entrance and we didn't hear a sound from upstairs.The property owner responded to messages within minutes. Check in was simple. Wi-fi connection was simple and fast. Check out was touchless. A very nice and comfortable no drama stay.

Top of the Rock was a beautiful place to stay. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately, it was too hot out and we couldn't use the firepit. The hot tub is a nice amenity. The kitchen is well stocked, the towels are nice and the beds are comfy. Mark was very quick to respond and gave great recommendations for food and drinks nearby.We are already planning our next bourbon trip, and will definitely be staying here in the future.

Highly recommend! It’s a great apartment in a perfect spot for exploring the bourbon trail. We had everything we needed and it was very clean. Definitely one of the better VRBO’s we’ve stayed in! Mark was awesome and very hospitable. He went out of his way to be an ideal host. We’ll be back!

Frankfort 2025 vacation

Top of the Rock was a wonderful vacation stay. Four of us had plenty of room. Having two full bathrooms is a must for us with 2 teen girls. Another feature we always look for is a washer and dryer which was user friendly. The view from the back porch was gorgeous. All the accommodations were as advertised and there weren't any surprises. Our host, Mark, made sure to frequently check on us. We appreciated that. The location was perfect. Every place we wanted to be at was just a few quick minutes from the house.
