Quiet waterfront house situated on a unique area called Snead Island. Just a short boat ride or car ride to the beach. A wide open floor plan allows you to enjoy family and friends at the same time enjoying the view of the pool and waterfront. The Pompano house also has its own covered parking area and additional space for trailer or RV parking. This house boasts a 40 ft dock with fish cleaning station. Bring your own boat or rent one. We also have 3 kayaks (1 double) that you can use during your stay at The Pompano House. With direct access to Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, you will love the great fishing and sightseeing for dolphins and manatees. There are lots of local fishing spots for you to explore, or you can charter one of our superb guides in the area. Please inquire.

BRINGING YOUR OWN BOAT:
Mean water line in the canal is 3' in the summer.
There are extreme lower tides in the winter.

The boat ramp is in downtown Palmetto, Riverside boat Ramp, about 15 minutes from the house.
Egmont Key is a beautiful area to anchor off and swim. It is approximately 30-45 minute boat ride.
the renowned white sand beaches of Anna Maria Island are also a beautiful place to go by boat.
There are several restaurants close that you can boat for lunch or dinner.
We have direct access to Tampa Bay. No bridges.

Open concept home has plenty of room for entertaining and relaxing. 2 seating areas with comfortable chairs and couch. View the large screened TV from the living room, family room and kitchen areas. Decorated with upscale florida artwork from local artists.

Spread out and enjoy the outdoor private patio area with Solar heated pool, lounge chairs and BBQ grill. Quiet waterfront location. Enjoy cocktails by the pool or a quiet dinner at the table for six. Lounge on the outdoor lounge chairs and read a book.
Enjoy fishing off the dock, or kayaking or riding bicycles to the 365 acre Emerson Point Park for bird watching, hiking or some good flats fishing.

Enjoy riding bikes to Emerson Point Preserve.

There are plenty of beach towels, for everyone's enjoyment.

Our Pet friendly house is tiled throughout and our screened lanai has a dog door which gives your best friend easy access to the fenced in yard. Dog food and water bowl provided

BEACHES:
World renowned Ana Maria Island with its white sand beach, Bradenton Beach, and Holmes Beach are all less than a 30 minute drive.
The brilliant white beaches of Siesta Key, located just off the coast of Sarasota, are a 45 minute drive, as is the #1 ranked beach in Florida, St. Petersburg Beach.
Ft. DeSoto Park, a 45 minute drive over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, has the only dog park where dogs are allowed on the beach in a designated area. You can also catch a Ferry from here to Historic Egmont Key State Park and National Wildlife Refuge.

SPORTS: The Rays play baseball in Tropicana Field, 30 minute drive over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, drive another 30 minutes over the Howard Frankland Bridge to Tampa to watch the Bucs play football, or the Lightnings play ice hockey. Several Golf courses are within a 20 minute drive and Palmetto's Tennis Court and pickle ball courts are a 20 minute walk away or short bike ride.
