Family bike trip

Our family loved staying at this townhome! The location was perfect. Easy access to ride right from the house to the mountain. After a day of riding we relaxed in the hot tub, the kids played fuseball and watched movies. We can't wait to come back and stay here again.

Average Townhouse

Simply put, this townhouse needed a deep clean. We were surprised to NOT find common amenities like shampoo/ conditioner and tissues! No doubt a great location and we did love the layout. Overall lacks in hospitality.

Hello Stephanie, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. Once you book with us we send you emails to let you know what we offer and what we don't. That way you can prepare in advance. We do not offer those toiletries due to some guests being allergic. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you stay with us again.

Nothing fancy, but comfy

This place could use a little TLC. The couch has seen better days, all the closet doors are off the rails, a couthings weren't working properly. However, the condo was spacious, it was decently equipped, and the location was top notch. And the price was reasonable for a house of that size in high season and walking distance from Snow Summit.

If mold and dirt bother you, don't stay here

The location of this property is phenomenal if you're going to Snow Summit. But it desperately needs a deep cleaning. There is mold growing in the bathrooms, areas of think amount of dust/dirt, someone's spilled soda (or other drink) running down the banister, etc. The check-in time and check-out times on VRBO are also different than what the property manager insists on, which forced us to kill time waiting to check in and forced us to get up earlier on our last day to check out on time.

Hello Joe, Bear Summit is located within walking distance of Snow Summit. We apologize that the home was not cleaned properly beforehand. This is not what we like to hear from our tenants, and not up to our standards. We will make note of the home not being properly cleaned and address it right away with our cleaning staff. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. All of our sites should be updated to 4 pm check-in and 10 am check-out. These hours were changed during Covid season due to the town being extra busy and cleaners needing extra time. We apologize that there was a miscommunication, but we do our best to accommodate early check-ins and late check-outs. Kind Regards, Destination Big Bear
