The house was absolutley perfect. They have truly thought of everything needed for a stress free stay. The kitchen was so well stocked with more than you can think of needed.
We had a great week. Lots of snow to play in and a lovely home and spa to relax and enjoy our winter getaway. The host was very attentive and hospitable, responding quickly with any issue/question not matter how small. Its also a beautiful neighborhood and everyone we came across was so kind. Will book again.
Everything was awesome, Thankyou! Also we forgot my nieces savings for the trip in the house and they were so helpfull and kind trying to solve the problem, she got her money back thanks to the host, the house was very cozy and we were very happy there during our stay
We had two families who stayed in this house of the 4th of July and it was perfect. The layout and all the amenities of the house are great for two families to share. We had group meals using the outside patio and picnic table, and played games at night around the big round kitchen table. So many great moments and memories made. House is very well appointed with everything you could think of. Thank you for a lovely stay!
This was a great house. Super family friendly as well, including anything and everything you could need. The dishwasher was broken and there were a couple little issues, but it was very easy to communicate with the property owners. We were there for Super Bowl weekend and adults and kids alike had a great time.
This was such a great, and conveniently located properly! It was close to all of the activities (Snow Mountain, the Lake, the Village, etc), and it had plenty of space. The setup of the house was great, and it was wonderful for my family to enjoy a little time away from the city. The host is extremely responsive and very communicative. I would recommend this place over and over. We will be back!
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely house in Big Bear! It was perfect for our family and friends. The house was spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone. The beds and couch were incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights and relaxing days. The location was ideal, with fishing spots and hiking trails just a short distance away. We especially loved the yard—it was perfect for eating outside and enjoying the beautiful pine trees. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!
My family and friends were comfortably accommodated with sleeping arrangements and space in this cute home. We enjoyed dinners at the kitchen table. The kids enjoyed the playroom upstairs. And we loved bbqing in the snow ! Only downfall was the jacuzzi was not working and looked like it hasn’t been working for some time. Other than that , we recommend this home and give it two thumbs up !

Thanks for your review Renee! I'm so so sorry the jacuzzi wasn't working, I wish I would have known during your stay so I could have gotten it taken care of. As soon as I read your review, I called our spa service provider and they are on their way to fix what ever issues its having. Thank you for saying something :). I'm happy you enjoyed the home, and we hope to host you again in the future.

Great property! Beds were comfy, so clean, hot tub was great, location was great, hostess was very accessible and accommodating. The house was absolutely perfect. The only negative was that the trash had to be hauled off by us. This is difficult-car was packed with luggage and people, so we had to put the trash on the hood of the car. It had been snowing and raining all night and the trash fell off the car several times…getting out of the car to pick the trash up was not fun….shoes wet and we were in a hurry. The trash location given to us by the owner was closed, so we had to illegally dump the trash at a dumpster we found in town. I understand that the county does not allow rentals to have trash service, but I don’t understand why the owner doesn’t have a cleaning service take the trash. I think with the fees charged, that having trash removed would be a much better idea than asking guests to haul it off in their rental cars. The house was so great, but this was kind of a disappointment at the very end.

Hi Lori!
I'm happy to hear you had a great stay and enjoyed the house! I'm so sorry having to take your trash to a "clean bear site" was an issue. It's a city wide rule that all renters take their own trash to a disposal area, and not be left at the rental homes. Any vacation rental in the city limits of Big Bear Lake must abide by that rule. But trust me, I know its a pain! That's why I make sure its known early on. It's in the rental contract, the "Good Neighbor" agreement from the City, and in the text reminders we send out all before check in. As for having to dispose of your trash at a private dumpster, perhaps the City Clean Bear Site was closed since you left so early in the morning (5am). I bet they lock it up to keep the wild life out. I've never encountered it closed, but have never went that early. Either way, I'm so sorry it was an issue for you and detracted from your vacation. I hope you had safe travels back to your home. Thanks again for staying with us :-).
We enjoyed our stay at the property and the house was very clean and comfortable. The host was very polite and professional. When we had an issue with toilet she called maintenance immediately and within the hour it was fixed. The hot tub was very nice and enjoyable and the backyard was very peaceful. All the appliances in the house worked well.
A few things that could have been better. The house did not have A/C so it gets pretty hot at night. However the host provided us with multiple fans in each room. The house did not have any condiments/cooking oil so we had to go out and buy our own ketchup, mustard, mayo, cooking oil etc. Additionally we had to throw away our own trash which was challenging. The place where you throw the trash is not walking distance so you have to put trash bags in the car. This is not the fault of the host as we noticed this is a Big Bear city wide thing. All houses in Big Bear had this issue.
Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the house a lot!

Hello Shruti,
I'm glad to hear that you had an enjoyable stay. 😊 You are correct that our home does not offer AC, as many homes in Big Bear do not. We make sure that is a piece of info in our profile/home details so there are no surprises, or unfulfilled expectations. I apologize if that wasn’t made clear to you before hand. Thankfully our weather is generally beautiful, and fans do the trick to keep the house cool. I'm so sorry if you did not experience our beautiful weather first hand. Sometimes a heat wave pushes us into the 80's, again I'm sorry if the temperature wasn't pleasing. Regarding cooking condiments, we ask that each guest take all their food at the end of their stay which includes condiments. This is to maintain safety and cleanliness for each guest. Thankfully, we have a convenience store less than 1/2 a mile away, so I hope that obtaining those items was easy for you and your guests. Lastly, I understand that the trash requirements can be challenging, but you are correct, it is a Big Bear Lake city-wide arrangement. Even though it is not walking distance, it is thankfully just a quick 1-mile drive away. Thank you again for choosing our home for your vacation, each guest means so much to us and our family!
We had an amazing time a this cozy and well appointed home. We hit a stormy weekend and we enjoyed the hot tub and watching movies on the large screen TV. The beds were comfortable and the backyard was really cute.
Perfect place for a getaway with our kids! Clean and comfortable in a really nice neighborhood. Close to the lake and town, we’d definitely stay again!
We stayed the weekend with family friends, 4 and adults and 6 children. The house accommodated is great and the backyard was a lot of fun and safe place for young kids to play. Everything was clean and as described. We’d come back for sure!
The property was great, and as advertised. Everything was clean and functioning properly. The fenced yard was great for the kids, and the flat driveway was nice and fit all three cars.
We had a wonderful experience! Everything was seamless, from check in to check out. The home provided all the amenities needed for our stay. It was cozy and spacious, with plenty of beds. The kitchen had a great variety of utensils and pots/pans to cook with. They even had a baby gate which was a huge plus!! Would definitely return if we plan a trip back to Big Bear.
Everything was amazing!! The house was the perfect size and incredibly clean. The hosts were great and very accommodating and location was perfect. Will definitely visit again
Wonderful experience at this amazing big bear home. The home has all the amenities one will need during a vacation. Hot tub was soothing and the home has ample space for a large family. TV was easy to use and we loved the distance to center of town.
The property was well appointed, the hot tub was great after a Long day of snowboarding and all in all this home was perfect for our family vacation! We will definitely be back again! Thank you!
