This cabin is ideal for a weekend getaway. It has a great wood burning fireplace, a cozy living room, and an extra downstairs game room. Everything was in good working condition. The kitchen is a good size and functional. Definitely recommend.

This cabin was perfect for my family of four. We were looking for something that truly embraced the cabin feel and this home did not disappoint. The game room was perfect to provide the extra space. Heaters work great and hot tub was a bonus. I also love that it’s a couple miles from the village so we got to experience the whole town. Can’t wait to go back!

Grandkids loved the game room. The cabin environment was great and well appointed. The jacuzzi was great and worked well, Did need chlorine I believe (odor). The door leading to the back deck would not open at times, door knob needs work. Taking own trash to collection site is a nuisance, Had to wait in line and Big Bear traffic can be aggravating. Really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend Bear Hug cabin.

Delightful home base to explore Big Bear! Home is in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and walking distance to zoo. Our kids loved the game room and chess board. The house was cozy yet large enough accommodate or family of 8. Kids loved the bunk beds and Grandma and Grandpa got to sleep downstairs! The owners and property manager were easy to communicate with and check in and out was a breeze. Would highly recommend!
