Newer Cabin, Disabled Accessible, RV parking and Close to Everything

This is a newer log-style cabin, with a bright and open layout, it's big enough for the whole family. While being cozy in the winter time and airy in the summer time, this cabin is beautiful all year round. It includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and even has a gaming area the whole family can enjoy. This cabin features a hot tub, rock fireplace, open great room, pool table, telephone, internet, patio furniture, a large wraparound deck, a fenced in dog run and is even handicap accessible. There are TV's in the living room as well as one in each bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare a wonderful home cooked meal. With being less than a mile to the Village, a short hop to the lake, Alpine slide/tube run, and both ski resorts, there is something to do for everyone of all ages. This spacious cabin sleeps eight comfortably with enough room for everyone. The master suite features a California king bed with a full bathroom as well as glass sliding doors that lead out onto the deck. The second bedroom has a queen bed as well as a bunk beds with a full bathroom. The third bedroom includes a queen bed and a full wheelchair accessible bathroom. The living room also has a sofa bed. Plus a full size washer and dryer. The cabin has an attached owner private dog park. Outside security video cameras monitors the cabin when vacant. Free EV charging station on site for electric vehicles.

Our family of 6 really enjoyed staying at this cabin for two nights. The owner is great with communication and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, including leaving a basket of goodies. We especially loved having a private spa, a pool table, and lots of games to play at the house. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone I know.

Great place for a group

This is a great property for a group of friends or family. Plenty of space, nicely furnished and equipped. Close to the ski resorts. Our dogs were so happy with the dog run area next to the house. A fun time was had by all.

Stayed here with my wife,-in-laws, and two small children. We all had a blast. The home was clearly meticulously cleaned prior to our arrival and was well stocked with all manner of pots, pans, plates, cutlery. Communication was exemplary. Fun little getaway

Great stay overall for three couples and our kids. The bathroom per room was nice as well as all the amenities including the pool table, hlgames and bbq. The location was nice we were walking distance from one of our activities

Perfect location and cabin

This cabin is walking distance to the alpine slide, hiking trails and shopping. The cabin has a pool table and video games great for teenagers and adults. Very comfortable beds. Plenty of dishes and pots and pans to make this a temporary home away from home. Would definitely stay here again.

Best Vacation Rental By Far

This is the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. Finding a wheelchair accessible location is challenging with most property owners underestimating the true needs of someone in a wheelchair. This cabin was very accessible inside and out. The only challenge we had was the bed was a little too tall to transfer from a wheelchair without assistance but we figured it out. We appreciate the thoughtfulness and warmth of the cabin. We had such a restful stay and killer Spartan OCR race on the mountain. AROO!!! Will definitely stay here again.

Dad's 83rd Birthday Celebration

This Cabin was the perfect place for our family and our needs! There were 8 of us ranging from 13 years-83 years! The accessible bathroom and ramp to the door made it so easy for my dad to get around. The kids (and the adult men kids), had a BLAST on the video game table with so many vintage games from their childhoods! Pools is always a hit and we took full advantage of the hot tub and the grill. Just an amazing weekend, with TONS of kitchen space and room for everyone! We were so thankful to be able to bring our sweet dog Polar Bear and she enjoyed the dog park and just being with all of her people.

Last Holiday Getaway

The cabin is beautiful. We were a group of six adults and our dogs. There was plenty to keep us busy at the cabin. There is a pool table, games, a video console, and a hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked. They left a basket of goodies for us upon our arrival. Toiletries were plentiful. There was plenty of room for the dogs to run around. In addition, eateries, shopping, and an excellent bakery were within walking distance. Phil was a great host; he always responded within minutes to any questions or concerns. There was also a book with information that was very handy. This cabin also had plenty of parking. We will be sure to visit again.

Where to start? This cozy open floor plan cabin is perfect!

My family and I stayed here over New Years and everything was perfect! Upon check in the lovely manager, Jennifer, met us to give a quick tour and go over a couple details like how to use the spa and where to take the trash. The hosts also left us an adorable holiday themed welcome basket and stockings filled above the fire place which really made our stay feel extra special (we had mentioned in our booking notes that we love Christmas and do not mind if Christmas decor was still up on New Years!). I hope the owners know how much we really loved and appreciated that extra touch. We also loved the open floor plan that offered different areas for relaxing activities while still being together. And the large couch was super comfortable which is surprisingly hard to find in big bear rentals. Same goes for the beds, we all slept great! We also appreciated the perfectly balanced “big bear cabin” themeing throughout the home, as it made the space extra cozy and warm. Exactly the vibes we were looking for. This cabin was immaculate. And everything in the home was top quality. Honestly, it’s so refreshing to stay at a home that actually cared about the quality of the house. We’ve had the unfortunate experiences at OTHER properties of feeling like door hinges were going to fall off and faucets looking like they haven’t been updated in 50 years, NOT THIS PLACE! Here, you can tell that the owners take pride in their home. It’s those little details that really set this cabin apart for us and we will be visiting again as soon as possible.

Heavenly stay at The Cabin

When we walked in, we were met by Jennifer who gave me a thorough tour of the house and property. This house was meant for comfort! Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of games and blankets. There is no Wii which we were sad about. The pool table was a hit with the whole family. Location is perfect. Street was quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was immaculately cleaned. This was the birthdau retreat I needed! Thank uou!!

Great cabin!

As soon as we walked in we were happy. The house was clean, up to date, had plenty of amenities, and very spacious. They even left us a care package for our stay. My husband and I played pool which we haven’t done in years. We also got to play old school arcade games which really just made us laugh and have a good time. The owner Phil and Jennifer who checked us in were both super helpful. We were a 5 minute drive to the village which was perfect! Lots of quick and easy ways to get to the lake and if you have kids, you’re right next to a little gold/crystal digging spot. Very happy we found this spot, can’t wait to go back. Thank you again for making our trip memorable.

Great Cabin

The host has been in constant communication with us from the moment we booked. The cabin is really nice and spacious. Even having 9 grown people inside, we didn't feel crowded.
