Beautiful new clean log home with 4 bedrooms, and 2 full baths.
Sleeps up to 12 people. (8 beds total) All on one level. Hard surface flooring throughout the cottage. Very well insulated, stays cool in summer months.
Long driveway tucked away off the highway.
Huge covered deck
Outside fire pit with chairs, charcoal grill, picnic table.
Right next to snowmobile trails.
Large parking area, good for multiple trailers.
Absolutely NO PETS allowed.

Beautiful stay!

We had doubts there would be enough snow to ride and asked the Nelsons if we could possibly push our reservation out to a different time if the weather didn't cooperate. They were wonderfully understanding and accommodating. We decided at the last minute to just make the best of it, no matter the weather. Glad we did, cause the lake effect kicked in and we got enough fresh snow to ride! The cabin is beautiful and location even more so! There were plenty of supplies and toiletries, unlike a couple places we've stayed. They had a very large area plowed out for all our trucks and trailers, making for easy parking and loading/unloading. My husband liked the cabin so much, he was ready to call the hosts and ask if they were interested in selling to us! :) It's conveniently located close to the trails and close enough to Grand Marais for anything you might need to pick up. We'd definately stay there again!

Outdoor Paradise

Great location for any outdoor enthusiasts or secluded enough for a quiet stay ..Host was awesome about answering any questions and home was very clean. We would love to stay here again in the future!
