About the host

Born in Melbourne but I moved here from Jindabyne, NSW. I have been a fishing guide for over 25 years, and for 18 years I ran a ski lodge in Perisher Valley.

Why they chose this property

Proximity to the river and holiday letting potential. The property feels remote but is readily accessible from Mansfield and is close to the resorts of Buller and Stirling for skiing.
The Howqua is an iconic Victorian trout stream and the fishing can be fantastic.

What makes this property unique

Properties with Howqua frontage are like hens teeth. There was nothing better at the time we bought, and there has been nothing better since.
