Great Stay At Cypress Pointe

We arrived on Saturday afternoon and got checked right in. The room was really nice and if we needed anything they brought it to us within 15 minutes, such as clean towels and trash bags. We enjoyed the 3 pools and activities. The only thing missing was music by the pools other then that great time.

Waited til 6pm and our room still not ready. If the checkout time is at 9 or 10am, why the rooms can't be ready early?? That's probably resources which is a clear management issue...

Excelent place, well worth the money.

Beautiful place. Had a great time with all the activities for kids as well as adults. Plus the use of their sister resort across the street was a plus. Room was very clean and the work staff was very kind and outgoing. Just a couple of things at check in. You must have the credit card that you prepaid the room with at check in. And if you check in early you still have to wait in the check in line just to pick up your keys. Other than that great place..

Awful smells, water leak, no parking.

When we arrived there was a terrible musty smell in one of the rooms in the suite but we decided to use an air freshener to try and cope since it was Labor Day weekend and the resort seemed pretty booked. On the 3rd night we went out to dinner and upon coming back found there was no place to park, cars were parked illegally everywhere making it difficult to even drive and upon asking the staff where we should park they said they had another resort on a separate property we could park at and then walk back to this resort. Why is there not enough parking for their guests? Then we received a noise complaint when we had no music or television going and when we explained this we were asked if we were talking and if we were talking could we just keep the talking down. Walls are paper thin as we had heard other guests the entire weekend, however, we did not report them for "talking". On the final morning I woke up and when I stepped out of bed the carpet made a gross SQUELCH. Apparently the recent rainfall had caused leaks throughout the building and water was seeping in through the wall. That's when I realized the awful musty smell was probably from mold/mildew. This was our checkout day so as we were leaving I was planning to notify staff of the leak but we saw maintenance men running frantically to other rooms that also had water pouring into them. When I notified the staff member at the counter our room had a leak she said "that's just from the AC unit" and when I explained it was coming from under the wall under the bed she said she would notify someone. I would definitely pass on this resort as it's definitely on its last legs.

Beautiful Condo!

My family and I rented the 2 bedroom condo for our stay in Orlando. The condo was clean, very well decorated and the amenities were awesome. The condo kitchen is equipped with every utensil that you need to cook. The staff was friendly and the kids enjoyed the pool. The only downside is there is an additional fee for wifi. Wifi should be free in all resorts. We also enjoyed the resort cafe and gift shop. Resort is very close to shopping, dining, and attractions. Would highly recommend this resort, but review would be better if wifi was free. Maybe this is something the manager can accommodate in the future.

There is absolutely no parking. We had to park at the shopping center across the street from the resort. Also the first unit they put us in the air conditioner did not work. When we called maintenance he had no clue how to fix it. As he was attempting to fix that problem the lights in the unit went out in two of the bedrooms when we told him that, he walked over to the stove and turned the stove on. When he did that the lights came back on. However they did move us to another unit although in the middle of the night. The other unit was nice and had no other issues.
