Wonderful accommodation for 6 friends and a dog. Conveniently located, beach access a bonus. Comfortable beds, linens including bed, towels and blankets clean and plentiful. Roomy cooking, eating and indoor lounging areas. Relaxing outdoor deck and lounge swing/fire pit. Incredibly stocked kitchen, games and books. Many other details much appreciated.
This is a great property, well appointed kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and a spacious living area. Especially enjoyed the fire pit, and as a bonus we were able to bring our dog. Highly recommend
The property fit our needs. The host and hostess were kind and generous. The kids loved the property. It is in an excellent location, quite and safe. Pet friendly was a plus. We would consider going there again if we are in the area.
Wonderful place to stay. I stayed with 2 friends and we had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable too. The yard was beautiful, lots of magical art everywhere. We kayaked and canoed which were supplied by the host. We will definitely be back!!!
The property was exactly what we needed for our family vacation. The hosts were prompt with answers to any of our questions, they also had everything we needed and their attention to delay was superb. The banana bread was delicious and the fire pit was a bonus. We will definitely be back.
My family really loved this cottage. It's comfortable and stocked with everything you will need. The kids liked the board games and also roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. We all loved paddling around the cove. I highly recommend!
A fabulous place to stay with our family on the Sunshine Coast! So many “extras” were included in the kitchen! Lots of parking, plenty of linens, lots of fun things to do! We highly recommend!
The space was cozy and had everything we needed. It made our vacation so much more enjoyable! Morning fires in the indoor fireplace and evening fires in the yard followed by canoe rides at the bottom of the property was truly magical and provided our family with so many wonderful memories.
Lovely big space and well kept. The kitchen was great for cooking, lots of equipment. The owners were friendly and responsive, we had a small issue and they helped right away. Lots of room, games to play, and a neat outdoor space. Would definitely cone back!
We loved our stay! We got lucky that the fire ban had ended, so we were able to enjoy a lovely campfire, which made the evenings extra special. We also made our way down to the water and did some kayaking. Such a beautiful and peaceful spot. The kitchen is really well stocked and had everything we needed during our stay. Even a can opener! Ian and Jackie are incredibly kind and welcoming hosts. They even made us a banana bread to welcome us, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch.Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our time here. One fair warning for anyone planning to head down to the water: there are about 150 steps, with a combination of stairs and a bit of a hill. It all feels secure and well maintained, but it is definitely a bit of a trek, especially coming back up! Something to keep in mind if stairs or mobility are a concern. Thanks again, Ian and Jackie, for such a lovely stay!
This is a wonderful, pet friendly accommodation that is perfect for family and friends. The hosts are lovely. Upon arrival we were treated to a delicious loaf of banana bread. How sweet is that!
The property was lovely and exactly how it was described. It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to relax for a few days. Communication with the hosts was easy and quick. We had a lovely stay and would recommend this space to others.
This stay was overall enjoyable! I recommend visitors to bring their own knives as the knives provided were dull and hard to cook with. I also recommend visitors to bring shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as it is not provided. The stay was cosy and Jackie was easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the fireplace, and the well stocked firewood!
My husband and I recently spent a week at this property with our adult sons and their partners, and everyone agreed that its main appeal was that it was cozy—like being invited to a family cabin rather than staying in a rental. We enjoyed lazing around on the comfy couches in front of the wood stove in the morning, and it was great to be able to play games on the deck or to gather under the trees on the outside patio. Even our border collie was happy to have the run of the covered, enclosed deck. During the daytime, we explored several nearby trails, made our usual trip to Smuggler Cove, and discovered Big Tree Park, which has the largest living tree on the Coast, an old-growth Douglas fir. To cap things off at night, we were able to gather around the firepit, and the kids went down to the cove to see the stars and the bioluminescent plankton. All in all, it was a wonderful trip, the hosts were very organized, friendly, and accommodating, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book another stay at this peaceful gem of a cabin.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is not large but its layout comfortably accommodates several people. The setting is beautiful and whimsical. We really appreciated the abundance of firewood for the wood stove which kept the place very cosy. Would definitely return.
Property was so cozy, beautiful, and a great place to spend time with loved ones and pets. There are boats, paddles, and water toys if you want to enjoy the water access. A fully stocked kitchen with all equipment you could need. Overall wonderful weekend!
