Carlos and Nancy were patient and kind when communicating about our late arrival time. Nancy made sure we could get into the property easily and explained how to use heating/air units and locate the downstairs laundry. In addition, they were engaging with site-seeing suggestions in the area.

Family vacation

The property was cute and just as it was listed. The owners were exceptional! They went above and beyond, making us feel welcome and gave great recommendations. The house was perfect for our family of five. Also, having a washer/dryer was helpful. The location was perfect for our agenda (Six Flags Fiesta Texas, PopStroke, Alamo/Riverwalk). We enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property

We were here for our daughter's Air Force graduation. Listing was exactly as described. Great price. It was a beautiful property with a clean quiet neighborhood. Centrally located within 5-20 min driving distance to everything. Hosts Nancy and Carlos were very friendly and hospitable. Communication was great! Would definitely stay here in the future.

Beautiful and cozy stay!

Everything about this place was so homey and nice - from the little balcony seating area and the games under the tv. Bedrooms and kitchen was very accommodating and would definitely stay here again. Very safe property and very gracious hosts!

The owner was nice and check-out was easy. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and could use soft mattress toppers. The hall had a bit of a smell, as if there were previous pets that had accidents on the floor.

Perfect San Antonio Getaway Home

Visited San Antonio as we desired to see the downtown and bicycle ride the many miles of bike/hike trails within the city. Mulberry Tower is situated perfectly for both. It was a short 1-mile ride through the very light traffic on these neighborhood roads to reach the beginning of the bike trails.

This was an Amazing place!! Filled with character and charm! Carlos and Nancy were great hosts and had lots of local information for us and were very accommodating...we stayed here as we were attending my son’s BMT graduation and it was a great location ...less than 20 mins to the base and downtown .....very clean and well organized....highly recommend if you are in San Antonio !!!

Beautiful historic house

We enjoyed our time in this historic second story home above the owners. Amazing communication and very safe property. Note that luggage does need to be carried upstairs. Large kitchen and 2 bedrooms gave us plenty of space. The porch was great for storm watching.

Incredible stay and wonderful hosts!

We stayed 4 nights while visiting San Antonio. Carlos and Nancy gave us great suggestions for additional sights to see and great Tex Mex dining! They were the ultimate hosts! Stay for Commencement

Carlos and Nancy are amazing hosts. Nancy took time out of her day to take us on a tour of the premises, explaining how things worked and providing suggestions on local food places. When we encountered her and Carlos outside they were very personable and engaged in conversation with us. Nancy gifted us with desserts and a welcome note. Mulberry tower “sanctuary in the city”

In town for airman’s graduation, the short time we had with our son was nice, and we very much enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of this home and neighborhood. It’s away from the airbase but close to downtown and the airport and just a few blocks from expressway to get across town to the base. Local restaurants are also very close. Just a few minutes from Walmart 😁 Very gracious hosts also reside at the property. This upstairs apartment is cozy, comfortable, very clean! With upstairs porch that is very nice in the evening if you prefer the outdoors and a breeze to the air conditioning. Beautiful place to stay, wonderful folk to stay with. Would definitely recommend👍

Christmas Vacay at San Antonio

We had a fantastic stay at Carlos and Nancy’s place during Christmas. They were so nice and accommodating. The sofa bed was all prepped knowing we would arrive late. We enjoyed the welcome Mexican pastries they left for us. The house was exactly like the pictures and in a nice locality. Bullet, the German Shepherd is super friendly. Downtown is just 10 minutes away. We recommend Carlos and Nancy’s house to anyone with a party of 4-6.

Amazing church retreat during Fiesta

We were having a college-age/young professionals retreat in San Antonio, and four of us stayed at this beautiful home. We were greeted by the extremely friendly owners who were accommodating to our every need. When we first went upstairs, we not only found a clean, beautiful space and balcony patio, but we also found some fresh pan dulce that the property owners had picked up for us. From being a great location only 10ish minutes from downtown, to having so many amenities we were not expecting (USB charging station in bedroom, a nice selection of board games, an innumerable amount of beautiful blankets), the question isn’t if we’ll stay here again, it is when. Love, love, loved our experience.

Why they chose this property

We bought this place because of its unique Spanish Colonial architecture despite it's rundown condition. The upstairs outdoor patio in the Tower caught my eye especially.

We invested significantly in its restoration to perhaps it's original beauty back in 1928 when it was built. I hope you love the results as we do.
