About this property

Our newly constructed Cottage has a very warm and welcoming feel. The kitchen has all new appliances and lots of pioneer women décor. You can sit on the screened in porch and enjoy the freshness of the mountain air, and enjoy being off of the beaten path. We have a BBQ grill and large open deck.
With in 2 miles of the put in are take out kayaking on the Green River and also enjoying a nice swim in the Big Hungry River.
Hiking trails nearby in the Game lands.
3 miles off of interstate 26.
We are a dedicated vacation rental, when you stay here, this home belongs to you! Firefly Cottage is newly built, and farmhouse style décor. Our Cottage is available for rental year round. This cottage is minutes to Hendersonville NC, 35 minutes to Asheville NC. If you are into skiing we are about an hours drive to Cataloochee and Wolfe Ridge Ski Resorts.
Local Breweries, including Sierra Nevada are all a short driving distance.
Please come and enjoy our firefly cottage.

Great cottage!!

Very clean and well kept cottage. Lots of nice amenities in a quiet relaxing environment. Very obvious the owner puts lots of time and effort in making the cottage a warm welcoming place.

Fire Fly Cottage

Stayed one week with our son, daughter-in-law and two infants. Beautifully maintained property. Secluded and quiet yet close enough to town to enjoy Flat Rock and Hendersonville. We had a wonderful and restful (even with two infants!) vacation.

A relaxing get away

This is a great place to just get away, without being to far from town to be able to get to stores and restaurants. The owners are very nice and considerate to your needs. You can tell they put a lot of theirselves into this house. We loved sitting on the back porch during the day then the screened in porch at night. It was very relaxing in every way. Gary and Sandy were consummate hosts.

Peaceful retreat making memories

The property was very clean, updated and felt like home. We did not want to leave this place. Our family and friends were comfortable with activities including fire pit and grilling on the patio. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. We are definitely coming back to FireFly Cottage!

Secluded mtn getaway

Lovely cabin decorated for the holidays, and lots of other decorations. Fully stocked kitchen and outdoor gas grill, making our meals a breeze. Lovely screen porch and outdoor seating area. We gathered around the firepit multiple times, and enjoyed the mtn air. There are many areas to explore. The only area of concern is the road in, single width with minimal areas to bypass, Plus the a long or low vehicle might have issues.
