This fabulous 500-year-old mill house is unique among vacation rentals. Retaining the original mill works for the olive presses, it also offers multiple living and dining areas, a full kitchen, and beautiful outdoor spaces. All of the spaces are furnished with a tasteful combination of antiques and comfortable modern furniture for your enjoyment. With parking right in front of the house, it is easily accessible, yet very quiet. Set in the midst of olive groves with a small river running below, you are in the peaceful countryside, yet only five minutes from the beach and all of the amenities of the coastal towns of the Riviera.
A swimming pool just outside the back door, with surrounding terraces (shared by three apartments in the adjoining mill) couldn't be more convenient. In addition, there are multiple terraces on the property for relaxation, a vegetable/fruit garden where we offer our guests whatever is in season, and small chapel that was damaged in an earthquake in 1887.
This is historic Italy at its finest.
The property also includes three (and by the summer of 2020 four) other apartments. When all is completed the complex could accommodate up to 30 guests, plus a few more in cots, for large group reunions or special events. This would require advance booking for the entire property, and we would need to be contacted to make the arrangements.

About the host
Hosted by Cindy Bennett
Keith and I have been exploring Italy for more than 40 years; first before we met, then after our marriage, and with our four children. We purchased our first Italian property, an 800-year-old tower in Umbria, in 2014. After a few years, we started looking in Liguria, and found our wonderful cluster of 500-year old mills and a ruined chapel.
Though we spend a lot of time in Italy, we live permanently in Utah, USA. Keith still works full time as an architect and I (Cindy) raise award-winning Rex rabbits, garden, and increasingly spend more time keeping in touch with our clients who stay at our properties in Italy.
Our four children, all adopted from India, are mostly grown and married. They also occasionally make it to Italy with (or without) us.
When we are in Italy, we love exploring all of the hilltowns, medieval places, beautiful countryside, and occasionally Keith, the architect, gets me into a city! Because we have explored Italy top to bottom, and back and forth, we have seen most areas of this amazingly beautiful and historic country. No matter where you stay, we are happy to answer any questions about our wonderful Italy with you, and assist you in any way we can.
