Beach andNature Lovers Cottage near secluded beach
A cosy get-away that is ideally located just a few minutes walk away from a private beach. Enjoy the beautiful and quiet garden-like surroundings in this private but not isolated little home that has all the basic necessities you'll need. Its an ideal safe and comfortable location to relax and explore the breath-taking North Coast of Trinidad.
The house is modern, simple and tastefully decorated. The bedroom is air-conditioned, with a self-contained kitchenette, washer/dryer and wifi. It has a queen size bed in a separate bedroom and a futon in a smaller room just off the main living space that can sleep one additional person.
Later, take a 10 minute walk through a beautiful forest trail to get to a private beach and river. Or you can visit the famous Maracas Beach or Las Cuevas Beach or the Three Pools or Rincon waterfalls. Hike to Paria Waterfall if you are a more experienced hiker.
At night during the March to August months you can watch the amazing leatherback turtles come ashore to lay their eggs. If you plan your stay anytime from June to August you can witness the leatherback hatchlings as they emerge from the sand and make their way to the ocean.
Visit too during the Blanchisseuse Jazz Festival season and enjoy some Caribbean music and night life.
