The Mina penthouse is a two-floor duplex set within the Emir complex - a smallish group of apartments that previously was a high-end hotel (it suffers none for the conversion).
It was spotlessly clean throughout, & very well equipped.
Air conditioning in every room kept the delicious but ferocious heat at bay when necessary, & the 3 bedrooms (one of which has amazing views across the bay) allowed for flexible accommodation.
The big ticket item is the balcony however - a large, long area which spectacular panoramic views across Kalkan.
The apartment was also really quiet, & check-in (via the live-in manager) was easy.
One issue to take into account - although the Emir apartments are really well situated (away from any noise of the restaurant area, but still easily walkable), it is up a steep hill which is tricky when the sun's out in full force. This is readily over-comeable by using the cheap & plentiful taxis of the town. Also, the complex has quite a few steps with Mina being at the top with no lift, so you do need to be able to climb a couple of flights.
All-in-all though, heartily recommended - a great apartment in a really good complex with views to die for.
