Villa Simzer, set in the jewel of Kalkans Red Rock area, is now welcoming discerning guests. Designed by us for optimum family fun and comfort, in collaboration with one of Kalkan's top developers, she presents a fascinating "eclectic" mix of the very best the UK and Turkey can offer. She sits squarely above Kalkan Bay and harbour with totally uninterrupted views from her infinity pool (with integral children's pool and roman bath steps) and all rooms. Flanked to one side by olive groves and carefully laid out, she enjoys good levels of privacy with only one other villa within close proximity to her boundaries.The roof terrace offers an excellent opportunity to obliterate any tan marks whilst the children are occupied by games and toys for all ages and any keen partner conducts business via broadband. The garden is a feature and it is my strong belief that iron work is restricted to gates and balustrade. I believe that sofas are for sitting on, not sleeping on, hence the imported comforts.
We have just added an enormous terrace with a shaded area, equipped with soft furnishings to suit mothers and small children who wish to relax and play during the hotter periods of the day but still be outside and fully involved with sun lovers and swimmers, playroom and toddler pool. There is also an even larger master bedroom with glazed front to capture, “that view” with no obstruction and another room downstairs with a panoramic view from a curved glass window. It is all about the view out, over the bay of Kalkan which never fails to delight and relax guests and family alike. German manufactured POOL HEATER to extend season when required, extra cost. Rare flat site, lots of parking space, very large terrace-safe parking, safety for children prioritised. Sleeps 8 very comfortably and children-of course!

The villa was absolutely amazing, very spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was fabulous for amazing views across the town and out to sea, stunning! The downside was not being able to walk anywhere due to the steep roads, however Yusef the taxi driver was always on hand whenever we needed him. Would recommend Villa Simzer to anyone in a large group, perfect for gatherings and enough space to do your own thing. Lyn is a great host too.

Stunning!!

Villa Simza is absolutely amazing and set in a fabulous location with stunning views of Kalkan. We were blown away with the views every morning and didn't tire of watching the boats leave the harbour in the morning and return late afternoon (from the comfort of the pool!). The villa is ideally located and is within walking distance of the town. Kalkan is famous for the number of restaurants and there is no such thing as a bad restaurant, they are all great with the majority having roof top terraces (Blue Terrace being one of our favourites). The outside space at Villa Simza is great, the pool is amazing and there is plenty of space for outside dining. The villa itself is also well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend Villa Simza and hope to be able to return ourselves one day. We had a fabulous holiday, very relaxing and enjoyable. Its a shame we had to come home.

Lovely villa and location

First time in Kalkan and loved it. Villa is lovely, well equipped with great views. A lot of the owners belongings in the wardrobes and drawers that somewhat restrict storage for our clothes. Also the 5th “bedroom” is right at the top of the house located within the laundry room and had no access to a toilet and/or bathroom. This should be highlighted in the description. Also unfortunately the games room snooker table is in bad shape and the access is underneath the villa and down steep exterior steps. The pool is nice although the view is obstructed by overgrown plants that could do with cutting.

Great Villa

We stayed at Villa Simzer for a family holiday with our children and grandchildren (6 adults, 2 infants and 2 toddlers) and had a great time. The villa facilities were great and views over the bay outstanding. The town of Kalkan was very friendly and the walk down the hill relatively easy but a taxi back up the hill was needed for the children. The pool was great for a morning swim and a relaxing cool off after the days activities. The nearby Patara sandy beach is only a short car ride away and we would recommend buying the ticket for 10 adult entry fees as we used it on 3 occasions. This and visits to Fethyie and Kas markets made the car hire well worth it. The owner was very helpful prior to the visit with advice and arrangements and the villa was spotless and well maintained. The restaurant recommendations proved to be spot on and worth trying and the fish restaurant on the road to Kas, just after Kaputas beach provided an excellent lunch if you like Calamari and fresh fish (the only things on the menu). We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone who wants a great relaxing holiday.

Villa Simzer

This was our third time in Kalkan and it never disappoints. The villa is extremely comfortable and homely. An added bonus is that the pool is beautiful and warm, we stayed in a beautiful villa last year but the pool was so cold we couldn't use it. The owner of the villa has been really helpful with any query we had and it was a real bonus to be able to hire her car. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we hope to return next year.

A home away from home

Wow! Villa Simza has everything you need from children's pool toys, beach toys, diving flippers, books and games. You walk in and there is suncream, tea, coffee, washing powders, shampoo, conditioner and even a water dispenser. We hired the car and felt so at home from the moment we stepped through the door. Thank you Lyn for a truly remarkable experience. We will be back!

A piece of heaven......

We returned to Kalkan in August this year having spent seven days there in 2013. This time round we chose to go for ten days and the holiday was idyllic. There can't be a villa that has better viewes; the villa is incredibly homely; the BBQ area is perfect for the evenings with a small or big group (we comfortably cooked for ten of us); the infinity pool is wonderfully refreshing both in terms of the water temperature and mesmerising views; and the option to hire the car was a real plus. We spent our days going to the local food markets (fresh fish is so tasty); spending time on Kapitus beach (5 minute drive); a day trip to one of Europe's deepest gorges (Saklikent Gorge) which has the most refreshing cool water; a day trip on Moby Dick; and wonderful evenings dining in Kalkan centre. I can't recommend Kalkan and specifically this villa highly enough.

Amazing break in Villa Simzer!

We had a fantastic week in Villa Simzer in early September, soaking up some late summer sun in this relaxing place! There is no better view to start your day in Kalkan and we enjoyed some early morning swims and breakfast on the balcony. We enjoyed the nearby markets, a boat trip and the infamous Saklikent Gorge, ending the days with some lovely BBQs on the patio area and a few games of pool and drinks down in 'Club Simzer'! We couldn't recommend staying in Simzer highly enough!

Wonderful week in Kalkan

I spent a week long holiday in July 2013 at this lovely villa in the stunning town of Kalkan. On a trip with 8 friends we all had a fantastic time, and spent the majority of our time enjoying this wonderful villa. It slept and entertained our whole group with ease, the amazing infinity pool and surrounding patio were a welcome place to cool down and relax while taking in the breathtaking view that pictures cannot do justice. The BBQ area was perfect for many long evenings enjoying the wonderful cuisine from the local markets on the bbq and a spot with ample space for us all to enjoy each other's company and the beautiful surroundings. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more from the villa. The town itself has loads of lovely restaurants, bars and shops, along with very accomodating locals and a fantastic harbour area. We took a boat trip out into the bay (Moby Dick tours I believe) which was a great day out and I thoroughly recommend a day out on the water. All in all we had a great trip which was made by this beautifully decorated, ideally located and very well equipped villa. I really would recommend everyone to visit this fantastic spot and hope to be back out to visit again as soon as I can.

Luxury Villa with breathtaking views

We visited Villa Simzer in August, there were just the 2 of us swimming around in this beautiful villa with incredible views across the harbour and olive groves. Kalkan is lovely with all the restaurants and boat trips. We felt very spoilt, relaxing by the pool by the day and spending every other night at our villa and sometimes in town. The villa is perfectly equipped and very homely. We had the most wonderful week that the thought of not returning is sacrilege ! Views and outlook are beautiful.

A home from home - with stunning views!

We stayed at Villa Simzer for the first week of September, and what a week we had. The Villa was absolutely perfect for us, and IMO even better than described. We were only a group of four (as two had to drop out last minute), so we had lots of space, and 4/5 bedrooms to choose from! My favourite features of the villa were 1) the infinity pool and the amazing view of Kalkan and the harbour/ocean, 2) the games room complete with table tennis table etc. 3) all of the homely touches; such as kitchen cupboards with various foods already stocked up for our use, as well as a Nintendo Wii, and 4) the bbq and outside dining area - great for when we hosted some friends who were staying in Kalkan the same week, 5) the ability to easily rent the Villa car, which we used to explore Kas and the neighbouring coastline. We have now visited Kalkan four times, and for us this Villa takes the crown. p.s many thanks to the owner for her help and communication through the booking and in the run up to the trip.

Perfect base for a great holiday

Villa Simzer felt like home the minute we arrived. The fridge was stocked and despite the late hour everything went like clockwork from the airport. The caretaker was there to meet us and showed us everything, promising to come back in the morning and see we had settled in. It is a beautiful villa with views to die for. There is another villa next door but not obtrusively. To the otherside it is just undeveloped hillside - I loved walking there but it is steep. Nothing is lacking in the villa and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is great and although small I didn't see a bigger one in Kalkan. It is 10/15mins downhill into town and easy to get a cab home - the kids walked it but you need to be fit. Altogether a great place for a holiday.

Attention to Detail

We had an amazing stay at Simzer. Lyn has thought of everything and she provides 5 star customer service. The villa is amazing lots of games, toys and DVD's for the children to play with. The pool and views are just stunning. The villa comes with a car which I would highly recommend it is so hassle free and Lyn's experience of Kalkan means you eat in the all the right places and see the best beaches and attractions.

relaxing in perfect heat

Well talk about having everything. My friends and I had the best time, we even ate veg from the garden, marmite that was provided (and replaced) we played music in the basement along with snooker and table tennis. As soon as we walked in we had washing powder, soap, loo roll and any added extra you may need. It was lovely and hot and I reccommend the local restaurant 'our home' which is a 10min walk and has fresh, local food at local prices. I cannot wait to go back and nor can my friends!!

I have searched for years to find the perfect spot where I can enjoy stunning sea views, ozone breezes, home comforts,space both inside and out,a warm pool,sun and shade to suit my fancy,privacy to avoid tan lines,good markets,traditional restaurants,people who enjoy a smile and reciprocate with genuine passion and above all somewhere I can avoid the "Great British People" on their holidays. Thought was always given to the needs of my children who enjoy a "good" evening out,a stimulating game in and only the best beaches.
Simzer was chosen to reflect the desires of all ages whether young,old or a good mixed crowd.Simzer has been thoroughly "vetted" and declared perfect! by each of my "little" darlings in turn. It is a good feeling to get it all right at last!

What makes this property unique

Apart from the stunning views through the windows, you will also find "interest" around every corner at Simzer as she is "decked out" with all sorts of fascinating objects both new and very old. I am fully "kitted out" for "partying" with cupboards stuffed full of crockery/glasses, all basic food items,etc.There are enough chairs to seat the neighbourhood and sufficient games to amuse twenty people of varying ages,i.e:-cot rattles/mobiles, Thomas Duplo "by the crate",a large "rocking" car, SEPERATE TODDLER POOL, numerous board games,billiards/pool,table tennis,etc. There are dozens of towels for all uses, hair dryers and a very "cool" cool box! Unlimited Broadband for business use, a local phone POOL HEATER for the chillier months, Everything I think!
