Beautiful property with amazing views. The kids enjoyed the pool and the toy room. The host is very easy to communicate with. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we are in Kalkan.

Villa Simzer is a lovely villa with outstanding views of Kalkan bay we appreciated the pool very much and the quietness of the areaThe villa needs a bit of tlc and maybe no rugs on the floor as we found them a trip hazardBedrooms very roomy and kitchen had lots of utensilsLyn the owner was easily contactable and helpfulWe had a lovely stay and would recommend

Thank you Tania, the villa is painted and fully checked at the start of every season and deep cleaned regularly but perhaps it has fallen prey to its own popularity as guests have been back to back this season making repaints impossible. I’m in my 70’s now and I couldn’t manage all that cold noisy marble without my beautiful thick Turkish rugs-I hadn’t thought about them as being hazardous as we’ve always had them as a family-my Villa staff would willingly lift and store anything upon request as they are most obliging. I’m glad you enjoyed the peacefulness and views-we relax immediately we arrive

The villa was well cleaned and so was the pool and poolarea too. We found all we needed for a relaxed vacation. The views from all rooms in the villa and from the pool area were wonderful. We don't want to leave even for daytrips... But we went to Saklikent Gorge and some nights we went to Kaputaş and Patara beach for the warm sea with funny waves.

For a group of 8, this villa worked great. There was lots of outside space and a great pool with stunning uninterrupted views over Kalkan out to the bay.

Pros- garden and outside areas wonderful. Beautiful, expansive view of sea. Beautifully landscaped. House is large with comfy beds and plenty of space.Cons- kitchen and living area feels cluttered with many personal items of owner. Kitchen needs a good clean out to make room for grocery items of guests.

It was great to give someone from America a taste of Brlitish, “home from home” rather than the usual stark extremely basic rental properties on offer. Having all the basic provisions rather than having to shop for even salt pepper and sugar is usually a five star point and everything was obviously used along with the coffee, smoothie making and microwaving counter top gadgets, fully equipped children’s cupboard etc., showing a good time was had by all ages which is the norm-first guests of the season so, I followed them in and therefore know- they made good use of everything and will have had a great time without having to rush out and pay out for the basics we all need before we can have a cup of tea or season a boiled egg…..

Cannot find fault with this lovely property. The villa has everything you need and the outdoor space is huge which meant that even with 10 people we did not feel on top of eachother. Great communication from the owner was really helpful. Highly recommended.

Villa Simzer

The villa was absolutely amazing, very spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was fabulous for amazing views across the town and out to sea, stunning! The downside was not being able to walk anywhere due to the steep roads, however Yusef the taxi driver was always on hand whenever we needed him. Would recommend Villa Simzer to anyone in a large group, perfect for gatherings and enough space to do your own thing. Lyn is a great host too.

Avoiding the noise and traffic pollution does mean shopping needs to be brought up in a vehicle for this oldie-ME! I leave the running up and down to my children these days - they treat it as a useful prelude to their charity runs, cycles and skiing- I only walk down for boat trips and enjoy relaxing in the sea breeze on my flat site- a rarity in Kalkan. So peaceful!

Stunning!!

Villa Simza is absolutely amazing and set in a fabulous location with stunning views of Kalkan. We were blown away with the views every morning and didn't tire of watching the boats leave the harbour in the morning and return late afternoon (from the comfort of the pool!). The villa is ideally located and is within walking distance of the town. Kalkan is famous for the number of restaurants and there is no such thing as a bad restaurant, they are all great with the majority having roof top terraces (Blue Terrace being one of our favourites). The outside space at Villa Simza is great, the pool is amazing and there is plenty of space for outside dining. The villa itself is also well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I would definitely recommend Villa Simza and hope to be able to return ourselves one day. We had a fabulous holiday, very relaxing and enjoyable. Its a shame we had to come home.

Lovely villa and location

First time in Kalkan and loved it. Villa is lovely, well equipped with great views. A lot of the owners belongings in the wardrobes and drawers that somewhat restrict storage for our clothes. Also the 5th “bedroom” is right at the top of the house located within the laundry room and had no access to a toilet and/or bathroom. This should be highlighted in the description. Also unfortunately the games room snooker table is in bad shape and the access is underneath the villa and down steep exterior steps. The pool is nice although the view is obstructed by overgrown plants that could do with cutting.

Everything in the villa cupboards is not personal but for guests to use and avoid the increasing luggage costs- the top bedroom is not in the laundry room but it is without en suite and compromised in height clearance to be honest with only an outside shower on the roof terrace. I agree with everything said- VILLA SIMZER is a bit special but not ideal for large parties I think, it is a bit exclusive.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Simzer. If anything, the photos undersell how beautiful and spacious this property really is.One of the biggest surprises was the layout. Each of the four bedrooms has its own private bathroom, and every room has a balcony with incredible views of the Mediterranean. That made it perfect for our group of eight adults and one child because everyone had their own space and privacy while still enjoying time together.The outdoor area is where we spent most of our vacation. The pool was fantastic, and there were plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and seating on the terrace for everyone to relax without feeling crowded. Whether we were having coffee in the morning, spending the afternoon by the pool, or watching the sunset in the evening, it was an amazing place to be.The villa is well equipped, comfortable, and truly felt like a home rather than just a vacation rental. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything was exactly as described, if not better.We would happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing family getaway or a trip with friends. It was one of the highlights of our time in Türkiye.

Great Villa

We stayed at Villa Simzer for a family holiday with our children and grandchildren (6 adults, 2 infants and 2 toddlers) and had a great time. The villa facilities were great and views over the bay outstanding. The town of Kalkan was very friendly and the walk down the hill relatively easy but a taxi back up the hill was needed for the children. The pool was great for a morning swim and a relaxing cool off after the days activities. The nearby Patara sandy beach is only a short car ride away and we would recommend buying the ticket for 10 adult entry fees as we used it on 3 occasions. This and visits to Fethyie and Kas markets made the car hire well worth it. The owner was very helpful prior to the visit with advice and arrangements and the villa was spotless and well maintained. The restaurant recommendations proved to be spot on and worth trying and the fish restaurant on the road to Kas, just after Kaputas beach provided an excellent lunch if you like Calamari and fresh fish (the only things on the menu). We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone who wants a great relaxing holiday.

Villa Simzer

This was our third time in Kalkan and it never disappoints. The villa is extremely comfortable and homely. An added bonus is that the pool is beautiful and warm, we stayed in a beautiful villa last year but the pool was so cold we couldn't use it. The owner of the villa has been really helpful with any query we had and it was a real bonus to be able to hire her car. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we hope to return next year.

A home away from home

Wow! Villa Simza has everything you need from children's pool toys, beach toys, diving flippers, books and games. You walk in and there is suncream, tea, coffee, washing powders, shampoo, conditioner and even a water dispenser. We hired the car and felt so at home from the moment we stepped through the door. Thank you Lyn for a truly remarkable experience. We will be back!

A piece of heaven......

We returned to Kalkan in August this year having spent seven days there in 2013. This time round we chose to go for ten days and the holiday was idyllic. There can't be a villa that has better viewes; the villa is incredibly homely; the BBQ area is perfect for the evenings with a small or big group (we comfortably cooked for ten of us); the infinity pool is wonderfully refreshing both in terms of the water temperature and mesmerising views; and the option to hire the car was a real plus. We spent our days going to the local food markets (fresh fish is so tasty); spending time on Kapitus beach (5 minute drive); a day trip to one of Europe's deepest gorges (Saklikent Gorge) which has the most refreshing cool water; a day trip on Moby Dick; and wonderful evenings dining in Kalkan centre. I can't recommend Kalkan and specifically this villa highly enough.

Amazing break in Villa Simzer!

We had a fantastic week in Villa Simzer in early September, soaking up some late summer sun in this relaxing place! There is no better view to start your day in Kalkan and we enjoyed some early morning swims and breakfast on the balcony. We enjoyed the nearby markets, a boat trip and the infamous Saklikent Gorge, ending the days with some lovely BBQs on the patio area and a few games of pool and drinks down in 'Club Simzer'! We couldn't recommend staying in Simzer highly enough!

Wonderful week in Kalkan

I spent a week long holiday in July 2013 at this lovely villa in the stunning town of Kalkan. On a trip with 8 friends we all had a fantastic time, and spent the majority of our time enjoying this wonderful villa. It slept and entertained our whole group with ease, the amazing infinity pool and surrounding patio were a welcome place to cool down and relax while taking in the breathtaking view that pictures cannot do justice. The BBQ area was perfect for many long evenings enjoying the wonderful cuisine from the local markets on the bbq and a spot with ample space for us all to enjoy each other's company and the beautiful surroundings. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more from the villa. The town itself has loads of lovely restaurants, bars and shops, along with very accomodating locals and a fantastic harbour area. We took a boat trip out into the bay (Moby Dick tours I believe) which was a great day out and I thoroughly recommend a day out on the water. All in all we had a great trip which was made by this beautifully decorated, ideally located and very well equipped villa. I really would recommend everyone to visit this fantastic spot and hope to be back out to visit again as soon as I can.
