Perfect location is all that needs to be said about this newly decorated home on Lake Barkley. This waterfront retreat was designed for a get away! This cottage is located on a peaceful cul-de-sac and is across from Lake Barkley Marina. The mouth of Little River is nearby providing year round water for the private boat dock and a public boat launch is minutes away. This beautiful home is situated in a quiet cove that is perfect for fishing, tubing, skiing, canoeing and any other lake activity you can dream. Don't forget your walking shoes or bikes. The house is located in a very secluded neighborhood perfect for early walks or rides. The cottage boast 3 bedrooms and is completely furnished with 2 king beds and 1 queen bed. Wi-Fi, DVD and Roku television is available in all bedrooms. All linens are provided as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes and cookware. The cozy open family room has a fireplace with gas logs as well as cathedral ceilings overlooking stunning lake views. A wrap around deck enables wildlife viewing with maximum outdoor living and entertaining. A lower patio provides space to relax, dine and gather around the fire pit.

Just what we were looking for

Quiet, private, comfortable outdoor space. Homey, well-supplied indoor space with great views. Highlight of the stay was a bald eagle landing in a tree 20 yards from where I sat on the deck!

Beautiful View, Great Host!!!

We had a very relaxing stay. Carolyn has everything you need for the perfect lake stay. She even had cookies waiting for us!! The view and the 2 patio’s were awesome. We will definitely book this again.

Memories

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. 4 adults and 2 children we had lots of room to spread out. Having 2 patio areas was nice.The view is beautiful.We took the boat and it was so convenient to dock and go up to the house if we needed anything. The kids enjoyed playing with their battery operated boat off the dockThere is a boat lift which was nice.My husband uses a walker and it was very easy for him to get around. We cooked in and had everything we needed.The beds were very comfortable.The house was very clean.Our grandchildren said this was one of their favorite places to come.We made great memories here!! Carolyn and her husband were a phone call away if we needed anything.There were fresh chocolate chip cookies for us to enjoy which was a nice touch they were delicious !! We will definitely rent this home again !!! Thank you for sharing your home with us !!

Fun little get away!

We had a blast staying at the lake. We brought our boat, went tubing, and swam off the dock. The cottage was in great shape and the kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone.

Clean and quiet

We spent Christmas here. It was super cold outside during the polar freeze. The house was warm and comfortable. Carolyn is very responsive to questions or concerns. We highly recommend renting this house.
