Escala: Apartment located 300 meters from the beach and 100 meters Riells Yacht Club terrace and spectacular sea and mountain views. Spectacular sunny garden of 1000 m2 with 2 swimming pools (one for children), air conditioning and free WiFi internet, Fifth floor with elevator, consists of a large double room with bed 160 cm x 190 cm and space to accommodate a cot or extra bed. Capacity for 4/5 adults (double bed in a room more sofa bed type nest in the dining room for two adults in bed 200 x 80 cm each). Kitchen, microwave, washing machine, iron, cable TV, air conditioning, heating. Large terrace with spectacular ocean, Gulf of Rosas, and Club Nautico.
L'Escala is a small village of Alt Empordà (Girona-Catalonia-Spain) located in a privileged location on the Costa Brava, south of the Gulf of Roses and near the natural park of the Medes Islands. Typical fishing village, ideal for nature lovers, the beach and the sea. With its famous Greco-Roman ruins of Empúries, beautiful beaches and coves, ideal conditions to practice all water sports, hiking, biking or just strolling by the sea are given. The kitchen, of great prestige, has made anchovies must for all gourmets plate.
For driving directions:
From Barcelona and from France: take exit 5 of the AP7 Orriols (20 kms of the scale) and then take the GI-623 which leads directly scale.

To arrive by train:
From Barcelona and Portbou: the commuter line Barcelona-Portbou is caught. This line's main stops Figueres, Girona, Sant Celoni, Barcelona Paseo de Gracia (which links to the airport) and Barcelona Sants. And from portbou you can catch the French railway.

To arrive by bus;
From Barcelona Sarfa: 1 bus daily on weekdays and 2 buses on weekends.
From Girona, with Sarfa: 4 trips a day, and 'buses on weekends.
From Figueras, also Sarfa, 5 buses daily

Unas vistas impresionantes y la gran amabilidad del propietario

El apartamento está situado cerca del puerto en una zona tranquila El apartamento es pequeñito pero está limpio, tiene una terraza con toldo con unas vistas preciosas y tiene aire acondicionado. El propietario Alex fue encantador des del primer momento nos envió información de cómo llegar, la entrada etc.. y nos recomendó un lugar donde hacen paellas para llevar que nos quitaron el hipo . Seguro q si esta libre repetiremos

Très bien, calme, proche de la mer et du parc

La location est située au calme dans un quartier résidentiel à moins de 10 minutes à pied de la plage de Riells. L'appartement bénéficie d'une terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de Roses en dominant les toits (5ème étage). Et de l'autre côté, à moins de 5 minutes à pied se trouve un Parc Naturel où l'on peut se promener avec son chien et faire de belles balades le long de la côte. Les équipements de l'appartement sont très biens, il y a une climatisation utilisable uniquement de 8h à 22h, pour la nuit nous arrivions à faire courant d'air avec les fenêtres donc pas de soucis ! Le bâtiment est équipé d'un ascenseur et d'une piscine communautaire très jolie. Nous avons passés une très bonne semaine et l'appartement est parfait pour 2 voir 3, au-delà c'est un peu juste en terme d'espace et non de matériel. Encore merci à Alex pour son accueil et sa gentillesse ! Sophie P.

Nice Apartment, good location

Clean, compact, comfortable apartment as described, 4th floor, nice views over the harbour from balcony. Secure parking, good wi-fi, two TV's with various european channels. Short walk to beach and shops. Overall excellent value and l'Escala is a great holiday choice!

EXCELENTES APARTAMENTOS EN UNA ZONA MUY BONITA

No somos muy de repetir en un sitio, pero este año hemos vuelto a repetir en estos apartamentos por séptimo año consecutivo¡¡ Este año hemos disfrutado vacaciones en septiembre, pero hemos estado en distintas épocas del año (primavera, principios de verano, mitad del verano, septiembre,.....) y siempre hemos disfrutado de unas bonitas vacaciones. El apartamento tiene una excelente ubicación, en una zona tranquila y familiar, muy cerca de la playa, con un precioso paseo marítimo que une la playa con el pueblo, cerca del puerto y cerca también de un parque con un entorno natural único donde darse un baño y pasear con tu mascota. El propietario tiene varios apartamentos. En estos años hemos podido disfrutar de todos ellos y comprobar que todos están perfectamente equipados y son muy cómodos. El apartamento cuenta con una piscina comunitaria muy bien cuidada y las vistas desde los apartamentos son muy bonitas. En definitiva, son unos apartamentos a los que esperamos volver y que recomendamos continuamente a nuestros conocidos y amigos.

Appartement agréable et très propre. Super piscine est espace vert en bas. 5 min de la plage, commerces. En bas de l'appartement petit train de ville qui passe jusqu'a cité archéologique Empuries. L'Escale c'est un découvert pour nos. Calme avec un charme, pas trop du monde. Appartement est 10 min a pied de plages sauvages. Pas loin de l'Escala beaucoup endroit à visiter - Girona, Figueras, Le Port de la Selva, Cadaques. Propriétaire très sympa. A conseiller!!

Appartement est très bien situé, 5 min de port et de la plage, des restaurants et des commerces très calme et très propre. Une super piscine et espace vert en bas de l'appartement également très propre. Un endroit super pour une famille avec 1 ou 2 enfants. Propriétaire très sympa :) L'Escale c'est un découvert pour nous. L'endroit avec une charme, pas trop du monde, beaucoup des choses à voir et à visiter pas loin - Girona, Barcelona, Le Port de la Selva, Figueras, Cadaques, Empouries. C'est une bonne direction à Costa Brava :) Ole!!! :)

Excelentes vacaciones en bonito apartamento

Durante la primera quincena de agosto nos alojamos en éste bonito apartamento de l´Escala, cercano a la playa (en 5 minutos se llega andando) y la verdad nos gustó mucho. Tiene un jardín muy bonito, grande con mucha zona verde y dos piscinas muy bonitas (una infantil). Para ser agosto estuvimos muy tranquilos, sin mucha gente en la piscina y apartados del bullicio que se monta en estas fechas hacia el centro de la zona de la playas o del pueblo. La zona es muy privilegiada ya que al lado del apartamento (apenas a 100 metros), tienes la entrada al Club Náutico, muy agradable, con restaurantes y bonitos rincones y al lado mismo empieza el pulmón de l´Escala (la zona verde mas grande que hay, con bosque, acantilados con playas de piedras en las que no hay nadie, caminos de ronda que van hasta Cala Montgó, etc..). El apartamento además estaba completísimo, con aire acondicionado por si aprieta mucho el calor, todo nuevo y con unas vistas desde la terraza que se lo recomiendo a cualquier amante del mar y de la naturaleza.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour de 5 semaines à L'Escala. Beaucoup de choses à faire et à voir, toutes les commodités à disposition. L'appartement est très bien, très fonctionnel, avec une jolie terrasse. Le jardin et la piscine sont un plus très appréciés (les photos ne leur rendent pas assez hommage car c'est vraiment très joli !). Un grand merci à Alex pour son chaleureux accueil !

Appartement très sympa, avec une vue magnifique sur l'Escala, la baie et les montagnes. Petit mais bien aménagé. Equipement de cuisine trés succinct donc, prévoir des plats à emporter ! Sinon, trés bien placé, au calme et pas très loin de la plage et des commerces. Clim appréciable, piscine agréable (éviter toutefois les heures de grande affluence). Le ménage à l'arrivée n'était pas top mais le propriétaire est charmant, et la vue, je le répète, vaut le coup d'oeil ;-)) Donc je conseille chaudement cette location, d'autant que l'Escala, que nous ne connaissions pas est une superbe petite ville, touristique tout en restant humaine...

Appartement fonctionnel avec une vue exceptionnelle sur le port. Equipement remarquable, ce qui fait qu'on se sent tout de suite "comme chez soi". Propriétaire attentionné. Proximité des commerces, des plages et des lieux touristiques. En somme : vacances inoubliables pour les petits comme les grands. A conseiller!
