Claremont Terrace is one of the most luxurious serviced apartments in Glasgow. It is ideally situated near bus, underground and train links and there is parking available right outside. Glasgow’s Park Area is a small but exclusive area of the city formed around Kelvingrove Park in the West End which is bounded by Sauchiehall Street,
Woodlands Road and Kelvin Way. You can take a leisurely walk through Kelvingrove Park to Byres Road for a multitude of dining and entertainment options. As we are situated minutes from the city centre we are ideally suited to business trips as well as family holidays or romantic couple breaks.
It must be pointed out there is scaffolding erected and some building work commencing at no. 9 Claremont Terrace until Sept 2015. Only mild disruption but this is reflected in the £130 nightly rate.

Wonderful flat and neighborhood. Close to bus stops for getting around. Houston even let us some goodies to help us with our busy tourist schedule. Highly recommend this place with spacious rooms.

We were dropping our daughter off at the University of Glasgow for her first year of studies and the apartment was absolutely perfect for the 3 of us. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, and in a great neighborhood with a beautiful park and nice restaurants and cafes close by. We walked to and from the university area. Julie, the host, was very communicative and kind even leaving some goodies for us in the fridge on our arrival. We’d happily stay there again when we return to visit our daughter. Can’t say enough positive things about the host and the apartment. It was wonderful.

I made this booking for my family to stay in Glasgow to visit us. Julie was very accommodating in the pick-up and drop-off of the keys and in checking in so everything was ok with the apartment. I definitely recommend it.

Beautifully furnished property in a quiet area just a mile from the train station

Perfect property for a 5 day stay in Glasgow for four adults. Julie, the host, was communicative, and kindly stocked the fridge for us with a few essentials. We were able to walk to several highly rated restaurants, and Buchanan Galleries which is a shopping complex. The train station, the University, and the museum are also easy walks, with the cathedral and necropolis being slightly longer walks. Getting to the airport took about 15 minutes by taxi early in the morning. The flat is a basement flat, so be aware that you will have to use stairs to go down. The kitchen is well stocked, the only thing we missed was a microwave, but there were pots and pans for heating food. All in all, a very positive experience.

Julie is an amazing host

My boss loved the property and it's proximity to the event she was attending. Julie communicated with us from the time I reserved the VRBO till it was time to check out. Gorgeous Garden Flat

Superb accommodation in walking distance of everything you want to see in Glasgow - parks, museums, restaurants and shopping all a stroll away. The flat itself is spacious, beautifully furnished and perfect for a couple or family. Julie was a lovely hostess, nothing was too much trouble and she was on hand if needed. Amazing apartment in a beautiful area.

My wife and I stayed here while we attended the TRSMT festival early July. We were extremely impressed as we approached the apartment and were not dissapointed when we stepped inside, everything was beautiful. Julie was a great host and supplied a few lovely extra touches which really made our stay that little bit more special. Contact with Julie throughout the booking process was easy and straight forward to ensure we had a stress free visit. I honestly could not recommend her place enough and ill surely be getting in touch should I visit the area again.

Spring stay suberb!

Stunning apartment with a perfect location. City centre on one side and the beautiful West End on the other. Kelvingrove park is right on the door step which was lovely for an evening walk. Julie is a perfect host with vast local knowledge. Couldn't reccomend enough! Will be back.

I have lived in Glasgow's beautiful West end all my life. The luxury apartment I have is situated right beside Kelvingrove Park and Art Galleries and I regularly take my precious granddaughters, who are 6 and 7 there.
I have successfully owned and run two hotels throughout my career and I am well equipped to advise you of the best places to visit during your stay here.

Why they chose this property

Glasgow's West End is the only place I would live. It is a vibrant, bustling community with beautiful parks and museums. The variety of shops and restaurant and bars is sublime.
I can walk everywhere as I am literally a stones through from the city centre and also very near to the SECC which hosts all major conferences and concerts.
Most importantly though are my grandchildren. The time I have with them is invaluable and there is an abundance of activities in the west end for us to do.
The area is peaceful, tranquil and very green which is good for the soul. What more could you want?
